The family will offer two days off per week, but full commitment is required from Friday through Sunday. The ability to step in as a backup for the current nanny and a willingness to travel, both domestically and internationally, are valued. The family seeks a team player who can seamlessly integrate into their dynamic, assisting with various tasks such as running errands, preparing snacks and lunches, handling dishes and cleanup, managing family laundry, and occasional organizing. A family vehicle will be provided. Given the family's active involvement in their children's lives and the parents' flexible work-from-home arrangements, the ideal candidate should be comfortable working alongside the parents, essentially becoming a part of the family. They are seeking someone who can maintain boundaries while fostering a nurturing environment and supporting educational activities like phonics and early reading. The family values attention to detail, reliability, and an active lifestyle, including outdoor activities, hikes, and vacations. They prioritize healthy habits and seek a nanny who can reinforce these values. The start date is ASAP, with a pay range of $36/hr via payroll. Benefits include contributing to health insurance, 3 paid sick days, and 2 weeks of PTO.

NATIONWIDE SEARCH: EDWARDS, IL - A growing family in central Illinois, just outside of Peoria, is seeking a FULL-TIME LIVE-IN NANNY for their 11-year-old daughter, 4-year-old boy, and 3-month-old daughter. Their eldest is in the home 70% of the time, as she shares time with her dad who lives nearby.   Ideal hours are from 7am-9pm Monday-Friday and 4–6-hour variable shifts on weekend days. There will be two weekend days completely off per month, guaranteed. There is expected to be some downtime during the weekdays when the older kids are at school and while mom is spending some 1:1 time with the baby. Flexibility is key! 40 hours/minimum weekly salary guaranteed. Duties include complete childcare such as diaper changes (and potty training), healthy meal and snack prep, feeding the children, educational play and planning age-appropriate developmental activities, nap time and bedtime routine, bathtime, and general housekeeping as needed, such as laundry and cleaning/organizing the play areas. They have a regular housekeeper as well, so no heavy cleaning, but they would like someone who can help keep the house clean and tidy day to day as well. They have two cats in the home, so no allergies, please! Someone who can live in is preferred at this time. Live-in accommodations include a private bedroom with two twin beds and a shared bathroom.   Their 11-year-old and 4-year-old attend school from 8:30am-3pm Monday-Friday. The nanny will need to help get the kids ready for school in the morning and will be in charge of school pick up and drop off. The 11-year-old usually has multiple afterschool activities (dance, track, volleyball, etc.), so you will be responsible for wrangling her to and from activities some of the time! A family car can be provided for you to use while on the job as well as for your personal use if desired or needed.   They anticipate some travel and would love for you to accompany them if and when they do! They typically take two domestic trips each year for no longer than 1-week stays. The ideal candidate is flexible, professional, trustworthy, proactive, and loving. They seek a nanny who has extensive experience looking after children of similar ages, particularly infants, is knowledgeable about child development, and is passionate about education overall. Experience working with young nursing infants and supporting moms who are breastfeeding is a plus.   They would love to work with a "career nanny"; someone with a passion for childcare, creating a stimulating and nurturing environment in which the children will continue to develop and thrive. They hope for someone who will become part of the family, creating a long-lasting professional and personal relationship. Vaccinations required (Covid + booster, TDAP, and influenza). They would like for their nanny to be willing to wear a medical-grade mask if and when requested, as they do have an infant who is high-risk. The family plans to continue to be “COVID cautious” for at least another year. While they don’t expect their nanny to take all the same strict precautions on their personal time, and they certainly wouldn’t expect masking all the time on the job, the nanny may be asked to wear a mask if s/he has any symptoms, travels, or during periods of high community transmission, and when taking the children out in public, to set a positive example and support the family’s values around masking. Masks are provided if needed.   Pay is $100,000-150,000 depending on experience. Benefits include paid sick days, holidays, and vacation. Benefits may include relocation assistance and a housing stipend if needed. Start date is ASAP.
