Additionally, there may be occasional opportunities for the nanny to travel with the family. This will include 5-day trips twice per year. The perfect candidate is mature, emotionally well-balanced, professional, and displays warmth, compassion, experienced, and loves the outdoors and animals.   The candidate will need to be comfortable stepping in and helping plan birthday parties, and events, planning and shopping for the boys' clothes, running errands, and helping with anything to keep the house organized and running smoothly. The candidate needs to plan dinners and lunches, planning travel, packing for travel and vacations, and coordinating with contractors and cleaning staff. Helping prepare the house and guest rooms on occasion. Possibly attending appointments with the children and sharing feedback with the father. Working as a team with health providers to ensure a fluid approach to behavior in the home.   The family lives in a beautiful home in Franktown on 35 acres. The children want to be around the animals and the nanny would need to be comfortable being around animals. At times they have extended family who stay or come to the home, so the candidate should be comfortable with additional family around.    The oldest son was diagnosed with Asperger's, ADHD, and dyslexia. He is very intelligent, however, at times finds it challenging to manage his emotions and ability to focus. The nanny does not need expertise in special needs, but the ability to understand and have patience is a must.    Living accommodations include a detached, recently remodeled 2-bedroom apartment with a private kitchen. On rare occasions, the second apartment bedroom may need to be used for the family’s guest or extended family if the main house is full.    Ideal hours; Tue - Thu, 7 am – 8:30 am and 1 pm - 8 pm depending on the school schedule with the need to work full days on most weekends. The family offers some flexibility and is looking for the same. The average weekly hours is about 50 hours. The nanny will need to have the flexibility to be able to stay with the children overnight on the rare occasion. The family has a housekeeper once a week to do the majority of the cleaning. The family will provide a car for the nanny to use while working.   The family is looking for candidates who are willing to make a long-term commitment (3+ years) and offer a $30k bonus at the 3-year mark plus $15k for each consecutive year. College educated (or equivalent) and at least 5 years of care / educational experience. They are willing to pay for relocation for the right candidate.
