NATIONWIDE SEARCH:  MISSISSIPPI & FLORIDA - Amazing family looking for an engaging, passionate, and professional FULL-TIME LIVE-IN NANNY.  With residences in both Mississippi and Florida, this unique opportunity offers an enriching lifestyle split 6 months between these two vibrant locations (May-October in FL, Nov-April in MS). The ideal candidate will possess prior experience as a nanny, coupled with a strong background in Child Development & Early Childhood Education, emphasizing the importance of fostering cognitive and emotional growth in early childhood. Additionally, proficiency in swimming, a love for outdoor activities, and a kind, nurturing demeanor are essential qualities.

They are looking for a candidate who matches their family’s values and leads an active and healthy lifestyle, ensuring their children thrive in an environment filled with indoor/outdoor adventure. You will be responsible for cooking them nutritious meals, and facilitating /stimulating fun, creative, activities. Responsibilities include providing hands-on care and supervision for their two-year-old and a nine-month-old, preparing and cooking healthy meals, maintaining cleanliness and organization within the children’s living spaces, and collaborating with parents to uphold consistent routines and parenting approaches.  Their daughter is very bright & active, and loves the outdoors! Their son is a snuggle bug; extremely calm and relaxed. Candidates must have experience working with multiple children at once. They are also seeking someone for the long-term; you can visualize yourself here for years to come! 

The schedule is from 8 AM to 5 PM, with the flexibility to work longer hours and over the course of six days. 40 hours guaranteed.  Candidates must embrace a flexible schedule, including travel, and occasional evening availability. A crucial aspect of this role is the ability to understand and implement redirection techniques, supporting positive behavior reinforcement in alignment with the family’s values.

Accommodations include a private bedroom and bathroom in their Mississippi residence, along with independent living in a waterfront condo in Florida, just a 15-second walk from the family’s home. They have two small dogs, minimal care required. 

Pay is contingent on experience, paid time off, and the opportunity to travel and explore new destinations alongside the family.
