Job Locations US-VA-Aldie
NATIONWIDE SEARCH- ALDIE, VA-   Lovely Aldie family searching for a proactive, caring FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT / LIVE-IN NANNY to care for their three children (a 8-year-old girl and 5- year-old twin boys) Monday - Friday from 9AM - 5PM. They would love someone who is open to working occasional additional hours/overnights, as well as possible travel in the future. Primary care is for their 5-year-old twin boys who are both diagnosed with ASD Level 2. They are seeking someone who has experience working with special needs and Autistic children, especially regarding eloping as well as working with diabetic children. Someone who is a team player, staying one step ahead, out-of-the-box thinking, and who is eager to help make the parents’ lives easier will do well in this role. Flexibility, collaboration, and kindness will go a long way and will be reciprocated!   One of the twins has ADHD and is very energetic! He is active and enjoys building, vehicles, playing in the sandbox, and anything that gets his body moving! His twin brother loves to sing (especially Frozen/Elsa) and watch videos and enjoys anything sensory-related. Boys have had bolting situations in the past, although not recently, so the caregiver will need to be able to be prepared and handle any curveballs that may come their way. Their older sister will be in the home periodically as well when she is not in school due to a calendar break. The family is looking for a caring, upbeat, friendly caregiver who can appreciate all of their children’s amazing strengths and see them for the amazing people that they are.    The ideal schedule will be Monday - Friday from 9AM - 5PM. The boys have in-home therapy Monday - Wednesday from 8:30AM - 11AM; the nanny would need to be on-site during this time but would not necessarily be participating in the sessions. Thursday and Friday will be made up of different activities. The option to go to the Grandparent's home with horses and activities will be available and a short drive away. The boys will nap starting at 1:30PM/2PM and will have either quiet time for an hour in bed or sleep for 90 minutes. If asleep, they will need to be woken up no later than 4PM. Playtime and dinner will follow, with the parents arriving home around 5PM. The family enjoys a sit-down dinner almost every evening so light meal prep would be wonderful. Since there will be activities out of the home, the caregiver must be comfortable driving the children in their car or the family car.  The role will become more of a split house manager and nanny as boys will shift to school/center based half days.    Light housekeeping will be a part of this role, primarily picking up after the children. Additionally, someone who is organized and can help Mom “purge” items throughout the house and organize effectively for the children would be ideal. Laundry for the children would be very appreciated. As mentioned above, meal prep for the family would be a wonderful bonus as well!   The family lives in the community of Willowsford in Loudoun County, with ample amenities and activities a short drive away from the home. Parking is readily available. The family does have one large senior dog who is very sweet and deaf. She mainly sleeps but will need to be let out/in throughout the day. Must be able to be around dogs!   Pay is OPEN $25-40/hr gross pay via payroll (depending on the scenario) with 40 hours per week guaranteed. It is preferred that the candidate is fully vaccinated (TDAP, Influenza, and Covid). Clean driving record and a valid driver's license are required. Paid sick time, vacation, and major holidays (8) are included in the compensation package.

Mom is seeking her co-parent/work-wife and respects your role and does not want her kids to grow up being entitled because of their privilege.  Mom believes a nanny is the most important position in the world and knows that her kids will take on some of your own characteristics and personality as well. So having good energy, being able to go with the flow, and being positive is important! Notable mention: Even though this is a dynamic and demanding role in many ways, there are incredible once-in-a-lifetime opportunities attached to this job.
