Job Locations US-NJ-Trenton
TRENTON, NJ (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY): Dual-working Lawrence Township family seeking a caring and engaging FULL-TIME, LIVE-OUT nanny for their two young children from 8:45am-4:45pm Monday-Friday. Their son, 3, is a friendly boy with Down Syndrome who loves reading and music! Their daughter, 2 months, is home with a standard infant schedule and development. Both parents work hybrid schedules, some days at home and some days in the office. They are hoping to find a reliable and playful nanny that truly enjoys working with infants and children with special needs. Possible flex and or overtime hours may be requested.    Their son is slightly delayed for his age but does not have any serious health issues or needs. He will begin preschool/OT during the week from 8:30am-2:30pm Monday - Friday. As of now, the parents plan to take him to-and-from school, but this may change in the future. Once home, he may just need a snack and wind down period, or possibly a nap and additional playtime until the parents are available. Their daughter has a standard infant schedule with bottles, naps, and age-appropriate playtime throughout the day. She is a good sleeper, easygoing, and alert during waketimes so someone engaging would do well!    Tasks will include but are not limited to full care for the infant during the day, and for both children once their son arrives home. Light housekeeping, cooking, and laundry as it relates to the children. The parents would appreciate someone who is comfortable tidying up after the children, washing bottles and dishes for the children, and light meal prep for the kids. If the nanny would like to venture out of the home with the children, the family car with car seats will be available to do so. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required.    The family lives in a suburban neighborhood with ample parking. It is a very walkable community with a park a mile away. There is a pool in the backyard so someone who is comfortable swimming with the children and or being around water with children is key. They do have one cat in the home so must be able to be around cats!    Pay is $25-$28, commensurate with experience, gross pay via payroll. Paid sick days, holidays, and paid time off are included in the compensation package. TDap, Influenza, and Covid vaccinations required. Start date 9/25/23.

MIAMI, FL (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY): Family of 12 (10 children) searching for a FULL-TIME, LIVE-OUT HEAD NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER to join their team! The children range in age from 2 years old to 17 years old. There are 8-9 nannies in the household caring for the children at any given time. The family is a very traditional Jewish family, with a Kosher home and lifestyle including a large Shabbat hosted in their home every Friday (which is a large party and can often go late into the evening/early morning). Someone who has experience working with and or practicting a Kosher lifestyle is a huge plus! They also live a holistic lifestyle - preferably with no vaccinations or medicines within the household. The family is searching for someone who has experience working with and/or managing a team of nannies within a private home. The home is fully staffed with a chef, housekeepers, laundress, nannies, and assistants. The head nanny will be working with and taking direction from the Estate Manager and the Principals. The household staff uses WhatsApp to communicate throughout the day; excellent communication to and within the team is required. Additional tasks will include using checklists and manuals throughout the home and day, ensuring they are updated and completed. Travel can be expected with this role, so someone who has a valid passport would be ideal. When the family travels, they will take half of the nanny staff generally, sometimes rotating nannies throughout the trip if for a prolonged period of time, such as the family traveling to Israel each year for multiple weeks.     Pay is $80,000+ annually, commensurate with experience, gross pay via payroll. Yearly increases and holiday bonuses will be discretionary. Paid sick days and PTO included. Relocation is not offered at this time, local candidates only.

Job Locations US-PA-Newtown
NEWTOWN, PA (OPEN TO ALL US CANDIDATES)- Fun-loving, active family in BUCKS COUNTY seeks a FULL-TIME NANNY /FAMILY ASSISTANT to help care for their 8-year-old twin boys and 5-year-old girl. The nanny will be responsible for caring for the children before/after school and dividing and conquering household tasks with mom while the children are in school.   The kids get up at 6am and leave for school around 7am. The twins' school is 20 min away and the youngest goes to school 35 min away. The boys’ school is on the way to their sister’s school, so it does not add any additional time. Usually, the nanny and mom divide and conquer pick-ups since all three kids are done at 3pm. When the kids get home, the boys usually complete their homework while the youngest plays and hangs out. One of the children is in speech therapy. Their therapist usually comes to the home once every two weeks after school. The kids are expected to shower before the day is over and eat dinner around 5:15-5:30pm.    While the kids are at school, the nanny takes on more of a “family assistant” role and will run errands, organize, and take inventory of household items (grocery/cleaning items/ clothes the kids may have grown out of, etc.). Mom is currently staying at home and is around for most of the day and always helping with the children and household tasks. She is looking for someone who can work in tandem with her to care for their children and ensure the household is taken care of. The nanny they hire MUST be a TEAM PLAYER. Mom is heavily involved in a non-profit organization and her responsibilities will be increasing over the year.  Depending on mom’s schedule, the nanny may also help with taking the dogs to the groomer down the street or dropping things off at the post office/UPS. If a child is home sick from school or has a day off, childcare takes precedence over any other household tasks. They have a full-time housekeeper, 5 days a week, who takes on many of the tasks a traditional nanny would be responsible for (e.g. doing the children’s laundry, cleaning the playroom, etc.).   The position can be LIVE-IN or LIVE-OUT. Although live-in is preferred, they are open for the right fit. Live-in accommodations consist of a private bedroom and bathroom tucked away in the finished basement of their 14,000 square-foot home. The area is also equipped with a sink, microwave, and refrigerated beverage drawers. The basement has a private walkout entrance for the nanny’s use. There is a theater in the basement that is used by the family on occasional Friday nights, as well as a home gym.   The nanny will work 40 hours per week (guaranteed). The family is somewhat flexible on start and end times, depending on whether the nanny lives in or lives out. For example, their current nanny of 6 years lives out and works from 10am-6pm Monday-Friday, since the children are in school for most the day. If their nanny were to live in, they would appreciate help in the mornings a few days per week from 7-9am with a break in the middle of the day while the kids are in school and resuming work for school pickup. Again, times are flexible for the right candidate and situation, but they do seek flexibility in return! They would ask for overnight support a few days per month when dad is traveling and/or a few occasional evenings every 2-3 months. The hours will not change much, if at all in the summer, as the children will be busy with camps during the day.   They have a second home in a private club community near Key Largo that they visit approximately 4 times per year and would love for their nanny to join them! Private living arrangements are provided while traveling. Travel is preferred but not required.    The family resides in a new single-family home on a quiet street about an hour from Philadelphia. They live on 12 acres and have a heated pool and pickleball court. The nanny will have access to the family car while on the job, and there are activities and many parks within a short driving distance to enjoy.  They have 2 dogs--a Golden Retriever and Pomeranian in the home, as well as two outdoor pigs who have their own fenced-in area in the yard. Must love animals!   They seek a seasoned professional and experienced career nanny. Someone who has a college degree and has proven longevity at previous positions. Longer-term experience with elementary-aged kids and caring for 3 children simultaneously is preferred.  They would also ideally like to bring on someone with childhood development/ early education experience, as both boys have dyslexia. They are currently in a private school for children with learning differences and are making great strides with the additional support, but the family would like someone who can be supportive at home as well.  They are an active family and prefer a nanny who is a strong swimmer and enjoys being active and outdoors! They seek a fun aunt/uncle-type individual who is playful and willing to engage in imaginative play and have fun with the children rather than merely watch/monitor them. The children connect best with someone who is playful and willing to be silly and goofy and make them laugh! Someone who can establish boundaries, but not be too firm or rigid. The family believes in positive reinforcement as an approach to parenting and is looking for a Nanny who has a similar philosophy. Parents would love for their children to develop a deep, loving, and fun relationship with their nanny, but also a healthy level of respect for this individual.    Above all, they are looking for someone who loves kids, truly enjoys childcare, and has many years of professional experience (i.e. a career nanny). They seek an energetic individual who can keep up with 3 fun and active kiddos!  Someone who is kind, caring, and most of all, patient. The ideal candidate can anticipate what needs to be done ahead of time and keep things organized and orderly. It is imperative that this individual be motivated. They’d appreciate a nanny who can help with the kids’ homework, have CPR and basic first aid training, and also some general knowledge about car seat safety. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, proactive and a gentle disciplinarian. Flexibility is key! Candidate must also have had college-level education.    They have had a wonderful 6-year relationship with their current nanny, who has truly become a member of the family and has served as mom’s “work wife” who will stay on and overlap with the new nanny they hire until early summer. Someone she can communicate openly with and bounce ideas off of. She is looking for the same type of relationship with their future nanny. The family highly respects their household employees and looks to their nanny as a partner. Someone who can become a family member and whose professional opinions and ideas are valued and respected. They are invested in their nanny and truly value their happiness in the position.     Pay is open depending on experience. Benefits include 5 paid sick days, 2 weeks of paid vacation, and federal holidays off and paid. Health insurance stipend is negotiable. Start date is Fall 2023!
