  NASSAU, BAHAMAS- Family looking for a FULL-TIME LIVE-IN EDUCATED NANNY to care for and mentor their 6-year-old son. They are seeking an intelligent and structured individual with years of experience. Latter is not as important as formal. Routines are key, nurturing the child's development is critical given the busy lifestyle of both parents. Homework oversight, helping with projects, and ensuring his well-being are key features for the parents. they are looking for someone who will provide consistency and structure, creativity, and intelligence to assist maturity and growth. "The tail must not wag the dog". Love for learning was stifled due to the pandemic and devices, online games took the place of good old-fashioned interests, so they defer to you to help encourage and reinforce sports, crafts, etc. Assisting with overseeing his nutrition and experimenting with different foods is also imperative!   Nanny typically works only a handful of hours a day M-F (7 AM-9 AM) and again after school through bedtime. They have a driver who will take you to school and help chauffeur you on any errands, etc. You will be responsible for all child-related duties including light housekeeping (keeping his room tidy, etc.) They have housekeepers, so no major cleaning or laundry. You will spend the day with much downtime and also prepare for the afternoon (getting the bag ready for swimming or soccer, etc.). You will pick him up from school and head to swim class then home routine (dinner, homework, getting ready for bed). Weekends are off, but you must be flexible to work overnights and or travel as needed. Salary is based on experience!   A guest house on the waterfront property is provided for you to live in, fully furnished (bed, bath, office). The pool is at your fingertips!   AUSTIN, TX (NATIONWIDE SEARCH)-Active family in Westlake is looking for a FULL-TIME ROTATIONAL NANNY for their two girls and two boys, ages 4, 7, 8, and 12. They have a fully staffed home comprised of an Estate Manager/ Chief of staff, Personal Chef, Head housekeeper and team, Head Groundskeeper and team, and one other Nanny. Teamwork is of utmost importance! The nanny they hire will rotate with their current nanny, working one week on and having one week off. Hours during the school year are typically from 6:30/7am-8/9pm. Summer hours are generally from 8:30/9am-9/9:30pm. Flexibility is of the utmost importance! The position is LIVE OUT only. Housing is not provided, but relocation assistance will be offered for the right fit.   Currently two of the children are in school Monday through Friday from 8 am to 3 pm. One of the children is in school from 8 am to 1 pm Monday through Friday, and the youngest is in school Tuesday and Thursday for three hours in the morning. The nanny will be responsible for getting the children ready in the morning and off to school. There is a break in the middle of the day when the youngest is at school to decompress/take care of personal matters. The children have a myriad of activities after school such as sports, dance, cheer, playdates, etc. Nanny will be responsible for taking the children to and from their afterschool activities as well. A family car is provided while on the job, but the nanny needs their personal vehicle to get to and from their home. You will be the mom’s right-hand person and will be responsible for everything related to the children. They often travel for vacation both domestically and internationally and will bring along one or both nannies depending on the destination and length of the trip.   MONTVALE, NJ (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)- Wonderful, loving family in the process of relocating from Charlotte, NC to the NYC suburbs seeks a FLEXIBLE FULL-TIME NANNY for their 3-year-old son with autism.  Are FLEXIBLE will fluctuate; 11am-7pm is a general range but could increase/decrease (40 hours per week guaranteed). The nanny will be expected to travel on occasion (1-2 times per month) and/or work occasional weekends (once per month at most). Typically, when no travel is taking place, weekends will be standard off days. In the event that they travel and depending on the days and +duration, nanny is usually given a day or days off after a trip to rest and recover. Travel and weekend schedule is communicated a week in advance when possible. Travels typically take place 1-2 times per month to destinations such as Portland, Charlotte, Los Angeles, and NYC for mom’s work. They enjoy traveling internationally for vacation once or twice each year. Nanny will be provided with separate accommodations while traveling. Must have a passport and preferably TSA precheck (family is willing to sponsor the first-time enrollment).   Their son was diagnosed with autism at 18mos. He is non-verbal and has a lactose/dairy intolerance (mainly just cheese), as well as an adverse reaction to honey in its raw form. The nanny MUST have experience working with autistic children as well as a background or familiarity with ABA therapy. This is a mandatory requirement! He has been in ABA therapy since being diagnosed and will continue until he is able to be enrolled in a "standard school system". The nanny will be expected to receive training at his ABA therapy center in order to conduct in-home therapy sessions which may include, but are not limited to, data recording and co-creating lesson plans for him. When traveling on the road, the nanny will be in charge of maintaining his ABA sessions and may lead virtual sessions with his ABA center should they be able to offer that.   Their little boy is very energetic, sweet, and loving. He loves to run around and give hugs. He enjoys music, playing with bubbles, and being outside as much as possible. Like all kids, loves his iPad and TV! He also loves the water! Anytime he can go swimming or play with water toys, he is his happiest. Must be a strong swimmer! He likes to play with playdoh, do shape puzzles and count. Some textures are uncomfortable to him, but he is always willing to try finger painting and enjoys "cooking.” He is a climber and loves to be tickled! He is non-verbal but does know some sign language and often communicates through the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) through his ABA services. He will be starting speech therapy soon.   They are in the process of finalizing his schedule. He will likely go to ABA therapy from 8am to 12pm, come home and take a nap. He typically wakes up around 1:30/2pm and will have a snack and spend time outside or listening to music. Following that, he has lunch and then a working session. This is when the nanny will lead an ABA session with him. This may include some activities, reading, drawing, arts & crafts, etc. This will then lead into another snack time prior to returning to the playroom for the remainder of his working session. He is allowed to use the iPad/TV any time after 4pm. Dinner is typically around 6pm. The nanny will be responsible for preparing all meals and snacks for the child. Mom will typically cook some items ahead of time to make it easier for the nanny. The nanny will also be responsible for bath time on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.   They have two dogs in the home; a French Bulldog and a Pomeranian/Yorkie mix, who are very much a part of the family and are looking for someone who can care for both the child and dogs. Petcare duties include but are not limited to, feeding them, playing with them, taking them on walks, administering medication if needed, and picking up/dropping off at any appointments. Must love dogs! They are moving to a gated community in Montvale, which is about a 30-45 minute drive to NYC depending on traffic. The community has a swimming pool, tennis court, dog park, playground and giant chess board play set.   The ideal candidate is experienced and loves working with kids, especially children with special needs. Must be fun, energetic, engaging, and creative to keep their little one’s attention. Flexibility and reliability are of the utmost importance, as mom’s job calls for working on the fly. She is respectful of the nanny’s needs as well. She is a straightforward communicator and wants a nanny who is comfortable sharing their mind and able to be open and honest. Someone who is unafraid to ask questions. A bonus if you are bilingual! Although their son is nonverbal, he gravitates toward Spanish shows. Mom is also fluent! Nanny MUST have experience with ASD/ABA. They thrive on structure but are also open to going with the flow some days and adjusting according to their son’s moods. There is a true break from 10am-1/1:30pm, except on the rare occasion that school calls for an emergency. Hours will change from a split schedule during the summer months and during school breaks. They would love someone open to babysitting occasionally on weekends, but it’s not a requirement!   The eldest two are in school full time. Mom gets them started on their morning routine and takes them to school. Nanny will start the workday at 7am (except Wednesdays), take the youngest through her morning routine, and drop her off at school at 8:30am. Nanny will then come home to tidy up from the morning (run the dishwasher, start a load of laundry, etc.) and leaves around 10am. There is a break from 10am-1/1:30pm, which is when the nanny needs to pick up the youngest at school and take her to afterschool activities. The eldest two need to be picked up at the bus stop at 3:30pm. The end time is either at 5:30/6 or 7:30pm. Mom typically handles the morning routines on Wednesdays and the nanny starts the day by picking up the youngest from school at 1:30pm. They are open to providing a family car if needed, but it is preferred that the nanny has their own vehicle for use while on the job. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record!   Live-in accommodations consist of a studio apartment above the garage.
