WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY- FULL-TIME LIVE-IN NANNY / HOUSEHOLD MANAGER: A warm, creative professional family is seeking a full-time live-in nanny and household manager for their 12-month-old daughter, for a long-term role beginning in mid-December. The family splits their time between Connecticut and Los Angeles and will be in LA from mid-November through December, so candidates based in LA are welcome and encouraged to apply. The family is looking for a soft-spoken yet energetic professional who enjoys being outdoors and is excited to support their daughter through each developmental stage in a relaxed, farm-style setting.
The nanny will have a private cottage on the property, about a five-minute walk from the main house. The schedule is ideally Monday through Friday from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with Saturday from 12 to 4 PM preferred, for roughly 40 hours per week, and the family is flexible and open to adjusting days as needed. A car is provided for the role. Beyond caring for their daughter, the nanny will help manage the household, including keeping an inventory of the home and supplies so the family never runs short.
The family has two dogs who are treated like children, so a genuine love of dogs is a must. Both parents work in a creative industry, so the nanny must be comfortable with travel, including regular trips to Los Angeles and international travel to Japan, and a valid passport is required. Familiarity with or appreciation for Japanese culture is a wonderful bonus, as the family has close ties to Japan and would love their daughter to grow up connected to it. Vaccination preferences will be shared with qualified candidates.
The ideal candidate is a long-term fit who is calm, warm, dependable, and discreet, with strong experience caring for infants and toddlers and a natural, organized approach to running a home. An NDA will be required.
Compensation is $100,000 to $150,000 per year gross, commensurate with experience, paid via payroll. Benefits will be discussed with qualified candidates.
