DALLAS, TX - An incredible family in Highland Park is seeking a FULL-TIME NANNY to join their well-established childcare team. The schedule will primarily consist of after-school and evening hours during the week (approximately 3:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.), along with weekend coverage (typically either 7:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.). While the schedule may remain somewhat fluid based on the family's needs, schedules are generally provided one month in advance whenever possible.
The family has energetic and engaging five-year-old boy/girl twins who will begin Kindergarten in the fall. The parents are finalizing school placements and programs for the upcoming academic year. This is a warm, respectful household that values teamwork, communication, and consistency. The family has maintained the same team of nannies for more than three years with virtually no turnover; a testament to the positive, supportive, and well-organized environment they have created. The family spends the school year in Dallas and summers in beautiful Lake Minnetonka, Minnesota. The ideal candidate will enjoy travel and be excited to accompany the family both domestically and internationally. Candidates must possess a current passport and be comfortable traveling as part of the role. The family is seeking a nanny experienced in preschool and Kindergarten-aged children who brings a calm, confident, and collaborative approach to caregiving. A background in early childhood education or child development is strongly preferred. Mom is currently undergoing Stage IV cancer treatment in Houston; however, the children continue to thrive thanks to the incredible consistency and dedication of their longtime caregiving team.
The ideal candidate embodies strong family values and a healthy, active lifestyle while bringing a dependable, drama-free, and positive presence to the home. Candidates must be adaptable, proactive, and eager to contribute to a strong, team-oriented environment. The children are very active in sports and extracurricular activities, so a candidate with a background in sports—or simply a genuine enthusiasm for athletics and active play—would be especially valued.
Responsibilities are strictly child-related and include:
• School drop-off and pick-up (nanny vehicle provided)
• Children's laundry
• Organizing children's spaces and play areas
• Mealtime support
• Facilitating engaging, age-appropriate, and developmentally enriching activities
• Assisting with the children's busy schedules, sports commitments, and routines
Compensation is exceptionally competitive, with pay set at $50/hour when working alongside another nanny and $70/hour when working independently with the children. The position guarantees 32 hours per week. Given the size and collaborative nature of the team, time off requests are generally accommodated with advance notice. The family offers an excellent benefits package, including paid sick days, paid holidays, and a monthly health and dental stipend. Candidates must be local to the Dallas area and fully vaccinated (COVID, influenza, Tdap, etc.).
