DENVER, CO (NATIONWIDE SEARCH) - A warm, established family centrally located in Denver, Colorado is seeking an experienced, mature, and exceptionally grounded full-time Nanny/House Manager to become a long-term, trusted presence in their household. This family is deeply loyal to the people who work with them and is committed to finding the right person to grow with their children through elementary school and beyond.
The family has two young children: a son, age 6, with Level 1 Autism support needs, and a daughter who will turn 4 this summer. Their son is a bright, high-IQ child enrolled in a specialized school in Denver, deeply engaged in imaginative play, particularly Legos and Magnatiles, and thrives with structure, consistency, and thoughtful transition support. He attends ABA therapy in the home Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1:00 to 4:00pm, and participates in an in-person peer group on Tuesdays and Thursdays. When he begins school in the fall, his schedule will shift accordingly, and the nanny will need to adapt seamlessly. Their daughter is sweet and easygoing, and both children do best with a calm, regulated, and emotionally steady adult presence. Zero yelling is a firm household standard. The ability to anticipate a child's needs, prepare them gently for transitions, and stay grounded when the children are dysregulated is not a nice-to-have here, it is essential.
The position runs Monday through Friday, roughly 10:00am to 6:00pm, with childcare most focused from 3:00 to 6:00pm. The first half of the day includes household management support. Mom works from a home office and is frequently present in the home, so the ideal candidate is comfortable working alongside a parent and understands the nuance of that dynamic. The family has weekend support in place and has no weekend expectations for this role. They are genuinely committed to avoiding burnout and taking care of their team. Flexibility for occasional date nights is appreciated.
Comfort with overnights is a very meaningful plus. The parents take two to three long weekend trips per year as well as one seven to ten-day trip annually without the children, and are looking for someone who can confidently hold down the household and provide consistent, secure care for the children during those stretches. The family also travels frequently as a unit, and when they do not require support on those trips, the house manager role is expected to continue functioning as usual back in Denver. Openness to occasional family travel is a welcomed plus, though given the children's ages it is not anticipated to be a frequent need.
The home is approximately 9,000 square feet and includes a pool. Vigilance around the pool at all times is non-negotiable. The family has two large, docile dogs, a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog and an English Cream Golden Retriever, who have their own dog walker. Comfort with large dogs is required.
The family is open to relocation for the right candidate and encourages those unfamiliar with Denver to genuinely consider what life in the city looks like before applying. This is a long-term commitment and they want someone who is excited to be there. A strict NDA is required. Standard vaccinations, including Tdap and MMR, are preferred. No COVID or flu vaccination requirement.
Benefits include openness to annual increases, bonuses, and OT rates applicable to applicable hours. Compensation is $90,000 to $100,000 gross annually, all in, via the family office. The role includes industry-standard 10 PTO days and 5 sick days. The target start date is ASAP!!!
Candidates with verifiable experience supporting children with autism, a calm and self-directed working style, and the maturity to navigate a high-trust household with professionalism and care are strongly encouraged to apply.
