WINTER SPRINGS, FL (ORLANDO AREA) – A thoughtful, developmentally focused family is seeking a PART-TIME NANNY to care for their 11-month-old daughter in their beautiful suburban home. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced, patient, and highly engaging infant/toddler caregiver who truly understands how to connect with more reserved children and takes pride in fostering meaningful developmental growth during this critical stage.
The schedule will be Monday through Wednesday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with a target start date of June 2026. The days are flexible if you prefer another set of three days during the week!
The family is offering a competitive hourly rate of $30–35/hour gross via payroll, along with paid time off aligned with the part-time schedule. This is a long-term opportunity for someone seeking consistency and a genuine connection with a kind, intentional family. Their daughter is a happy, curious, and active baby who is on the move and close to walking, though she can be initially shy and slow to warm. The family is specifically seeking a nanny with experience helping children acclimate and build trust, someone who is patient, intuitive, and confident in gently guiding that relationship over time. Once comfortable, their daughter is easygoing, playful, and thrives with thoughtful engagement.
This family places a strong emphasis on developmental, intentional caregiving. They are looking for a nanny who goes beyond passive play and is excited to incorporate age-appropriate learning into daily routines; whether that’s introducing music, exploring language, working on motor skills, or engaging in simple, structured “curriculum-style” activities that support their daughter's growth and curiosity. A proactive, thoughtful approach is key. Responsibilities will include attentive, hands-on childcare, maintaining her schedule (including two naps daily), preparing meals/snacks, light child-related household tasks, and keeping her environment organized and stimulating. The family is open to a candidate who can also take on a more household manager–style role if they are naturally proactive and take initiative. The home is well-equipped for engaging play, featuring a pool, playground, and dedicated playroom.
The household includes three friendly dogs, and the nanny will simply be asked to let them out into the backyard periodically. The parents are hands-on and thoughtful; Mom works partially from home, and they value open communication and a collaborative, respectful relationship with their nanny. Someone who is fully engaged and excited about children and child development.
This is an ideal role for a warm, engaging, and developmentally minded caregiver who understands that building trust comes first, and who is excited to play a meaningful role in a young child’s growth and early learning.
