NATIONWIDE SEARCH: NEEDHAM, MA – A warm, dynamic, and deeply connected family is seeking a FULL-TIME NANNY to join them in caring for their growing family of four children; an engaging 6-year-old boy, a spirited almost-5-year-old girl, a sweet 9-month-old boy (on hypoallergenic milk), and a baby girl arriving this October. The two older children are in school full-time. This is a truly special opportunity for a proactive, high-energy, and emotionally intuitive caregiver who thrives in a fast-paced, love-filled home and takes genuine pride in creating a nurturing, enriching environment where children feel seen, supported, and inspired.
The ideal candidate is someone who can seamlessly balance hands-on childcare confidently “wrangling” a full and active schedule that includes school drop-offs, activities, playdates, and appointments. A strong driver is essential, as the role involves frequent travel around town, particularly during morning and evening hours. This nanny will be highly organized and forward-thinking; managing calendars, coordinating logistics, and anticipating the family’s needs with ease; while also remaining flexible, collaborative, and aligned with the parents as a true extension of their values and parenting style.
This family is seeking a nanny who brings warmth, cultural awareness, and openness, and who is excited to be part of an inclusive, interfaith household that values diversity and meaningful connection.
The children are bright, curious, and involved in a variety of activities, and the family is looking for someone who will actively engage them in developmentally enriching experiences while fostering strong social and emotional skills. Their oldest child has an egg allergy (tolerates baked egg) and is diagnosed with ADHD and high-functioning autism; he is described as incredibly affable and sociable, and would benefit from a patient, understanding, and skilled caregiver who can support his unique strengths.
The role also includes light cooking, maintaining organization in children’s spaces, and helping the home run smoothly. Strong communication skills are key, as the parents value a collaborative, respectful partnership. With extended family nearby and frequent gatherings, the ideal candidate will be comfortable in a lively, social environment and confident navigating a home that is often full of energy and connection.
A live-in arrangement is preferred (though live-out will be considered), with a beautifully finished 1,600 sq ft private lower-level suite featuring a private bedroom and full bathroom, separate entrance, washer/dryer, and kitchenette; offering both comfort and independence. While the nanny’s suite is designed to provide ample privacy, the family would still like occasional access to shared lower-level spaces such as the pool table area and living room from time to time. A family car will be provided (or leased depending on your needs).
Pay is commensurate with experience via payroll, along with 10 days of paid vacation and 5 sick days, based on a 40-hour workweek, with flexibility in scheduling. Travel is anticipated once or twice per year, ideally internationally, so a valid passport is required.
