NATIONWIDE SEARCH: Littleton, CO- Warm & intentional family seeks an experienced, energetic, and deeply nurturing FULL-TIME NANNY to become a long-term partner in caring for their two young boys, ages 2.5 years and 5 months. They are seeking a true career nannysomeone who genuinely loves this work, brings professionalism and emotional intelligence to the role, and is excited to grow alongside a family during these formative early years. Someone who is fast-paced, witty and a self-starter is preferred.

The mother is a stay-at-home parent and is currently exclusively breastfeeding, so the immediate focus of the role will be on building a strong, trusting bond with the older child; becoming his steady presence, playmate, and guide throughout the day. The ideal candidate will naturally step into the role of his “best friend,” engaging him in outdoor play, biking, scootering, imaginative games, and creative activities while also gently supporting early learning. This includes helping with letters, numbers, and age-appropriate concepts, and thoughtfully supporting developmental milestones in a way that feels organic, playful, and never forced. As the family’s needs evolve, this position will naturally transition into caring for both children, with infant support incorporated over time.

The father works from home, and the family is seeking a nanny who is confident, self-directed, and comfortable working in a collaborative household environment with parents present. The right candidate understands professional boundaries, communicates clearly, and takes initiative without needing constant direction, bringing calm leadership and consistency to the day.

This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, intuitive, and naturally anticipates both the children’s and parents’ needs. The family values a low-key, laid-back approach paired with attentiveness and engagement—someone who believes children learn best through play, exploration, and connection. The household prioritizes organic, wholesome foods and thoughtful routines, while maintaining a relaxed, joyful, and fun environment rather than an overly rigid or structured one. Light child-related household support, including family laundry, simple meal preparation, and occasional errands, is part of the natural rhythm of the role. Reliability, punctuality, strong communication, and openness to feedback are essential, as is a genuine love for being present with children.

A strong childcare background is required, with significant toddler experience essential. Infant experience and a background in medical or clinical settings—such as NICU or PICU—are a strong plus. CPR and First Aid certification are required. Comfort administering medications, swimming with children, driving as needed, and adapting to occasional schedule flexibility is important.

The family lives in a welcoming, family-oriented neighborhood with nearby parks, easy parking, and a strong sense of community. Looking ahead, they anticipate adding a family dog in the future and would welcome someone open to light pet support when that time comes.

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity offering competitive compensation ($30-35/hr gross) paid legally via payroll, along with paid vacation, paid holidays, paid sick time, and mileage reimbursement in accordance with Colorado law. Relocation assistance may be considered for the right candidate. They also have a furnished basement, and are open to someone living in temporarily, but live out is ideal.

Above all, this family is seeking a nanny who views this role as a meaningful partnershipsomeone who brings warmth, energy, intuition, and a genuine love for nurturing children in a way that feels natural, engaging, and fun!
