AUSTIN, TX- A prominent UHNW family is seeking a warm, flexible, and highly professional FULL-TIME ROTA Nanny to join their fully staffed household and provide full-charge care for their six-month-old son. This is a long-term position for a candidate who brings exceptional experience with infants, a calm and nurturing presence, and the ability to seamlessly support a family with dynamic schedules and frequent travel.

 

The ideal candidate has a strong background in newborn and infant development, understands the importance of structure and consistency, and brings a thoughtful, engaged approach to daily routines, milestones, and enrichment. A college degree is strongly preferred, and Mandarin-speaking candidates will be considered a significant plus. Professionalism, discretion, emotional intelligence, and the ability to work collaboratively with a second ROTA nanny and a fully staffed home are essential.

This role follows a two-weeks-on / two-weeks-off rotation, with the nanny living in during on-weeks in a private bedroom and bathroom. Travelboth domestic and internationalis required, and candidates must be comfortable adapting to new environments, maintaining routines while on the road, and supporting parents with all logistical arrangements. The family is looking for someone who values longevity, communicates well, and can anticipate needs with ease, grace, and efficiency.

Qualifications

 

  • BA/BS COLLEGE DEGREE | AA IN RELATED FIELD OF STUDY | OR A MINIMUM OF 5+ YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL NANNY EXPERIENCE
  • UP TO DATE FIRST-AID & CPR CERTIFICATION (WILLINGNESS TO RENEW AS NEEDED)
  • THE ABILITY TO MAKE A ONE-YEAR COMMITMENT UNLESS APPLYING FOR A TEMPORARY POSITION
  • A PASSION FOR WORKING WITH CHILDREN
  • 5+ YEARS OF CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE IN ANY FIELD
  • EXCELLENT WORK AND PERSONAL REFERENCES
  • U.S. DRIVER’S LICENSE (THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO NYC RESIDENTS)
  • MUST BE A COMPETENT SWIMMER (IF AND WHEN REQUIRED)
