Older Nanny washing hands with 6 year old

ALPHARETTA, GA- LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY: A warm, faith-centered family is seeking a compassionate, flexible, and dependable Part-Time Nanny/Family Assistant to support their household during busy weeknights and occasional weekends. This is a wonderful opportunity for a nurturing and organized professional who thrives in a loving, high-energy environment and enjoys being part of a collaborative household team. The family has three children, a sweet 3-month-old infant, a curious 2-year-old toddler, and a bright 4-year-old preschooler on the autism spectrum; each with their own joyful personality and routine. Their home is filled with laughter, love, and faith, and they are looking for someone who can bring both calm structure and warmth to their evenings.

The typical schedule will be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM, with flexibility for weekend coverage as needed for events, travel, or occasional overnights. The family travels periodically and would love to include their nanny in these experiences when available and interested, though travel is not required.

Daily responsibilities will include assisting with dinner, bath, and bedtime routines; engaging the children in age-appropriate play, stories, and creative developmental activities; and supporting smooth transitions for their preschooler using calm, consistent communication strategies. Light household support, such as tidying play spaces, organizing children’s items, and resetting common areas at the end of the evening, will also be part of the routine. This role requires a team player who can comfortably work alongside one parent or the family’s house manager to ensure evenings flow seamlessly.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience caring for infants, toddlers, and children with special needs, particularly those on the autism spectrum. A gentle, confident demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain flexible and grounded in a dynamic household are essential. The family values kindness, patience, and reliability and hopes to find someone who truly enjoys becoming part of their extended family.

Compensation is $30–$35 per hour, commensurate with experience. Dinner is often provided during evening shifts, and there are opportunities for additional hours during travel weeks or special occasions. Candidates must have reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and excellent references.

This is an incredible opportunity to join a devoted, joyful family and make a meaningful impact on their children’s daily lives while working in a supportive, faith-based environment that values both heart and professionalism.
