This role offers flexibility for the right candidate — it can be full-time or part-time, depending on the nanny’s interest in taking on additional household management duties while the children are in school.

 

The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and firm yet friendly, with a genuine love for children and the ability to balance nurturing care with structure. The boys are bright, active, and benefit from clear guidance and engagement — their ideal nanny will enjoy helping with after-school routines, homework, and coordinating activities while keeping the home running smoothly.

 

For those seeking a full-time schedule, the family welcomes help with household organization, errands, meal prep, and family laundry during school hours. For candidates preferring a split schedule, the core hours would include mornings for school drop-offs and afternoons for pick-ups and after-school care.

 

The family lives in a quiet suburban neighborhood and has a friendly 50-pound senior dog. Candidates should have a reliable vehicle and will be reimbursed for mileage or gas when driving the children. Dad commutes to the city and is seeking someone to truly partner with Mom. 

 

The family offers a rate of $30+/hour gross via payroll, commensurate with experience, along with paid holidays, vacation, and sick days. Start date is ASAP for the right candidate. They are eager to find a warm, dependable caregiver who can grow with their family and bring both structure and heart to their home.

Qualifications

 

  • BA/BS COLLEGE DEGREE | AA IN RELATED FIELD OF STUDY | OR A MINIMUM OF 5+ YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL NANNY EXPERIENCE
  • UP TO DATE FIRST-AID & CPR CERTIFICATION (WILLINGNESS TO RENEW AS NEEDED)
  • THE ABILITY TO MAKE A ONE-YEAR COMMITMENT UNLESS APPLYING FOR A TEMPORARY POSITION
  • A PASSION FOR WORKING WITH CHILDREN
  • 5+ YEARS OF CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE IN ANY FIELD
  • EXCELLENT WORK AND PERSONAL REFERENCES
  • U.S. DRIVER’S LICENSE (THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO NYC RESIDENTS)
  • MUST BE A COMPETENT SWIMMER (IF AND WHEN REQUIRED)
  • NON-SMOKER
