NATIONWIDE SEARCH: BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA - Wonderful, down-to-earth family is seeking a warm, experienced, and detail-oriented Full-Time Nanny/Household Manager LIVE-OUT to care for their two children, a 2-year-old boy and an 11-month-old girl. Both children are happy, curious, and well-behaved, meeting and exceeding their developmental milestones. The family is looking for a true professional who will provide consistent, high-quality care while keeping the children’s safety, growth, and well-being as the top priority. Mom is heavily involved with the kids but also works at dad's company part-time. This position is very childcare focused, but is heavy household management (running errands, taking inventory, maintaining rotations, etc.). Parents are avid skiers and would love someone who shares similar interests and love for the outdoors and physical fitness!

The ideal candidate is energetic, proactive, and takes initiative, someone who notices what needs to be done without being asked and goes the extra mile to ensure the household runs smoothly. Daily responsibilities include engaging the children in age-appropriate play and learning activities, preparing nutritious meals, managing children’s laundry and organization, maintaining a tidy and child-safe environment, and assisting with light family-related tasks as needed. The family values a nanny who brings creativity, reliability, and structure to the day, while fostering a nurturing, positive, and respectful environment.

The general schedule is Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Fridays from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends for date nights or events. The position is live-out, and the family provides a dedicated family vehicle, along with a gas card and credit card for errands, outings, and activities with the children. The role also includes occasional travel, both domestic and extended, where the nanny’s adaptability and professionalism will be key.

The family resides in a private, gated community that is an intimate, friendly neighborhood surrounded by other young families, with easy access to parks and outdoor spaces. Weekly housekeeping is provided, and the household is well-organized and welcoming. The family’s small senior dog is low-maintenance.

They are seeking a long-term fit; someone who is loyal, polished, and eager to grow with their family LONG-TERM. The position offers $30-35/hour via payroll, DOE, along with paid vacation, paid holidays, and paid sick days and full benefits. Relocation is provided. They have rental properties too that you can potentially move into. The start date is ASAP though flexibility may be offered for the right candidate.
