AUSTIN, TX (LOCAL CANDIDATES) – A professional family is seeking a full-time, high-level nanny to provide primary care for their 4-month-old son Monday through Friday, approximately 40–50 hours per week. The ideal candidate is warm, fun-loving, and creative, yet highly professional, thoughtful, and able to “read the room” environment. Candidates should have extensive infant experience, a proven track record of excellence in private homes, and the ability to anticipate needs while providing a safe, enriching, and nurturing environment.

 

This role requires flexibility for occasional overnights and domestic & international travel with advanced notice. The family values someone confident, adaptable, and polished, who can integrate seamlessly into their dynamic household and support their lifestyle.

 

A competitive salary, commensurate with experience, will be offered, along with the opportunity to work in a warm, respectful, and professional setting. Only local candidates to Austin, TX  will be considered.

Qualifications

 

  • BA/BS COLLEGE DEGREE | AA IN RELATED FIELD OF STUDY | OR A MINIMUM OF 5+ YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL NANNY EXPERIENCE
  • UP TO DATE FIRST-AID & CPR CERTIFICATION (WILLINGNESS TO RENEW AS NEEDED)
  • THE ABILITY TO MAKE A ONE-YEAR COMMITMENT UNLESS APPLYING FOR A TEMPORARY POSITION
  • A PASSION FOR WORKING WITH CHILDREN
  • 5+ YEARS OF CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE IN ANY FIELD
  • EXCELLENT WORK AND PERSONAL REFERENCES
  • U.S. DRIVER’S LICENSE (THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO NYC RESIDENTS)
  • MUST BE A COMPETENT SWIMMER (IF AND WHEN REQUIRED)
  • NON-SMOKER
  • MUST BE LIVE-SCANNED AND REGISTERED WITH TRUSTLINE IF YOU ARE CA RESIDENT
