PHILADELPHIA, PA (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) - A warm and dynamic household is seeking a part-time, long-term Family Assistant/Nanny to provide household and childcare support for a busy home with one bright, energetic 6-year-old daughter. This position guarantees 20 hours per week in the afternoon/evening, and offers the opportunity to become a trusted partner in helping the family run smoothly.

The role is primarily household-focused, with responsibilities including keeping up the household organization system and preparing delicious and nutritious meals for school lunch and family dinner. Light and deep cleaning will be an important part of this role to keep up the household rhythm. Significant driving is required, including daily after-school pick-up,  running household errands, and occasional drives for mom to and from work so the family car can be available for afternoon use. Planning and supporting family logistics, such as helping with travel preparation, packing/unpacking, and managing car repairs/maintenance, is also a key aspect of this role.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, proactive, and flexible, with a warm, calming presence and the ability to “read the room.” This family values someone who brings a passion for keeping up a beautiful, inspiring space at home, and a sense of calm in the everyday routine. Experience managing a family’s day-to-day operations and comfort with a driving-heavy role is essential. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional family assistant/nanny seeking a stable, part-time position that blends household management with light childcare. Compensation is $27-33/hr gross via payroll, based on experience, with guaranteed weekly hours. Projected start date is October 6th, 2025. 

• BA/BS COLLEGE DEGREE | AA IN RELATED FIELD OF STUDY | OR A MINIMUM OF 5+ YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL NANNY EXPERIENCE
