BEDFORD, NY - A warm and welcoming family just an hour north of the city, is looking for a creative, energetic, and highly engaged Nanny/Household Assistant to care for their sweet 16-month-old daughter. The family consists of two dads and is very flexible, open to both part-time or full-time arrangements, though their ideal scenario would be finding someone fantastic three days per week, or more. Ulimately, they seek a kind, caring, and attentive professional who thrives on being thoughtful, fun, and hands-on, with a natural love for children and activities.

Their daughter is a lighthearted, joyful toddler who has never been in outside childcare and delights in spending time with others. She follows a predictable routine, waking around 7:00 AM, napping at 11:00 AM, and going down for the night at 7:00 PM. The family values minimizing screen time and instead hopes their nanny will take her on outings (they are within walking distance to town), attend classes, and keep her engaged in creative, active play as she grows.

In addition to childcare, responsibilities will include light household support such as rotating toys, organization, maintaining household inventory, grocery shopping, children’s laundry, light cooking, errands, and tidying children’s spaces. A car is provided for use on the job, and the nanny should be comfortable driving their daughter to activities. The position also offers the opportunity to travel with the family.

The family provides excellent benefits, including paid holidays, paid vacation, paid sick days, and a health insurance stipend. They are open to both live-out and live-in arrangements, with a guest house available for candidates who prefer to live on property. Candidates must be current on standard vaccinations, comfortable swimming, and willing to administer medication if needed.
