NEW YORK, NY – A warm, down-to-earth Manhattan family is seeking a dynamic Nanny/Household Assistant to join their busy, joy-filled home. They have two wonderful children, a bright, curious 7-year-old boy and an imaginative, spirited 4-year-old girl, both in school full-time.  The ideal schedule is a split shift, starting from 7:00–10:00 AM, then resuming 1:30/2:00–7:00/8:00 PM, allowing you time in the middle of the day for personal errands or rest. However, the family is open to alternative arrangements to ensure the perfect fit.

They are searching for someone resourceful, proactive, and meticulous, with a warm, engaging presence and a strong work ethic. Their son thrives on learning through books, songs, and games, and while he is high-energy and occasionally strong-willed, he responds beautifully to patience, calm guidance, and emotional attunement. The family resides in a doorman building across from Madison Square Park, complete with a playroom, swimming pool, and convenient access to public transportation.

Compensation is highly competitive and commensurate with experience, plus paid time off. Candidates must be willing to receive an annual flu shot and stay current on vaccinations. While the family is in the Hamptons until the end of the month, they are eager for the right person to start as soon as possible.
