HOUSTON, TX (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) – A devoted and organized family in the Briargrove Park neighborhood is seeking a part-time Homeschool Educator and Household Manager to support their two school-aged children, ages 8 and 9. This long-term role is ideal for a candidate with a background in education or home-based learning who is grounded, proactive, and aligned with Christian values. The family follows a Christian, biblically based curriculum and would love to welcome someone who shares those beliefs and is confident leading prayer and faith-based learning.

The children are bright, curious, and thrive with structure and encouragement. One child is preparing for upcoming eye surgery to help develop binocular vision, so daily activities will include supporting him with exercises that promote joint use of both eyes. The family's eldest is graduating early and preparing for mission work. The household values limited screen time, there are no tablets or phones permitted, and encourages outdoor play, active engagement, and learning with integrity.

The educator will support the children’s university-model homeschool curriculum by assisting with assignments, fostering time management, and guiding them through their daily tasks. This includes gentle oversight, pickup/drop-off for activities such as soccer or eye therapy, and coaching them through chores like walking the dog, unpacking, and taking responsibility for their belongings. Candidates should feel confident creating structure while being patient and warm, and must be comfortable working as part of a collaborative household where parents are present and involved.

The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM. A personal vehicle is required, and mileage reimbursement is offered at the end of each month. A housekeeper is employed on select days, but this role includes light organizational support and managing occasional household errands or vendors. The ideal start date is between September 2-16, 2025.

This position offers $40+/hour gross via payroll. Applicants must be willing to sign an NDA. If you're passionate about children, learning, and faith-based education, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact in a warm, values-driven home.
