AUSTIN, TX (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) -  A loving and organized family in Tarrytown is eagerly preparing to welcome their first baby boy in early November and is seeking a full-time, experienced Nanny/House Manager to join them long-term. This role is ideal for a nurturing, proactive professional with deep expertise in newborn and infant care. The schedule is flexible, guaranteeing 40 hours, with a mix of early and standard day shifts. The family will try to guarantee 2 days off per week, although not always sequentially. Occasional weekend days will be needed. Flexibility is essential, as the family may occasionally travel, including to Los Angeles, where the baby’s father resides part-time, and would like their nanny to accompany them when needed.

 

The ideal candidate will bring a calm, confident presence to the home and be comfortable working both independently and as a thoughtful team player alongside a hands-on parent. A strong background in newborn care, including feeding, sleep routines, and developmental milestones, is required. Beyond childcare, the family is looking for someone who takes initiative with light household responsibilities related to the baby, such as laundry, tidying, grocery shoppping, house organization, and simple meal prep. A Goldendoodle completes the household, so candidates must be pet-friendly.

  • BA/BS COLLEGE DEGREE | AA IN RELATED FIELD OF STUDY | OR A MINIMUM OF 5+ YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL NANNY EXPERIENCE
  • UP TO DATE FIRST-AID & CPR CERTIFICATION (WILLINGNESS TO RENEW AS NEEDED)
  • THE ABILITY TO MAKE A ONE-YEAR COMMITMENT UNLESS APPLYING FOR A TEMPORARY POSITION
  • A PASSION FOR WORKING WITH CHILDREN
  • 5+ YEARS OF CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE IN ANY FIELD
  • EXCELLENT WORK AND PERSONAL REFERENCES
  • U.S. DRIVER’S LICENSE (THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO NYC RESIDENTS)
  • MUST BE A COMPETENT SWIMMER (IF AND WHEN REQUIRED)
