ASPEN, CO & PARIS, FRANCE (WORLDWIDE SEARCH) – A vibrant, well-traveled family is seeking a full-time, live-in nanny / household manager to join their household and accompany them across the globe. This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced and adventurous nanny to care for their sweet, funny, and bright 2.5-year-old son as they transition from Aspen to Paris and beyond. Ideal candidate will help foster their son’s development and provide structure and educational activities and games and curriculum to the day! They have an Au Pair now and you will work in tandem with them, but this could transition into a homeschool, private educator role long-term.
The parents are separated but have a loving, close co-parenting relationship and home near each other. They are currently spending the summer in Europe and will return to Aspen in August, where they’ll remain through approximately March 2026. After that, they will be relocating to Paris full-time, while continuing to spend a few months each year in Aspen. They are looking for someone to start as soon as possible when they return to Colorado and to commit long-term, including relocating with them to France early next year.
The ideal candidate will have a valid passport, a genuine love of travel, and the flexibility to adapt to a dynamic, international lifestyle. This is not a role for someone who needs constant oversight; the family values independence, professionalism, and a proactive mindset.
You must be comfortable planning developmentally enriching activities, managing packing and travel logistics, and anticipating needs without being asked. A nurturing, engaging presence is key, along with strong communication skills and the ability to maintain consistency and structure for their son, even when life is on the move.
The typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM, with flexibility for occasional date nights and weekends. While traveling, the nanny will always be provided with a private bedroom or separate accommodations to ensure comfort and privacy. Responsibilities will include all aspects of childcare, including creating routines, preparing meals, planning age-appropriate activities, and fostering the little boy’s growth with patience, creativity, and emotional intelligence. The nanny will also be asked to assist with occasional household support such as grocery shopping, tidying shared spaces, laundry, and light errands. A collaborative spirit and willingness to jump in where needed will go a long way in this home.
The family offers competitive compensation of $35–45+/hour, depending on experience, along with 5 paid sick days, 10 days of paid time off, federal holidays off and paid, and a health stipend. A signed NDA is required to maintain the family’s privacy and confidentiality.
