SAINT LOUIS, MO (LOCAL/REGIONAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED) --A warm and welcoming family in the Brentwood neighborhood of Saint Louis is seeking a FULL-TIME NANNY to care for their calm, curious, and joyful 21-month-old daughter. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 7am–6pm, and Wednesday from 8am–5pm (with mom home on Wednesdays).

 

Their daughter typically wakes around 7am and takes one midday nap. The child’s grandmother is often present and will focus mainly on housework while occasionally assisting with childcare, so the ideal candidate must be a true team player who is comfortable collaborating in a multi-generational household.

 

Duties include complete childcare, preparing meals and snacks for the child, light tidying related to the child (such as cleaning up after meals and playtime), and simple pet care (letting the family’s sweet greyhound in and out). A family car is provided for use during working hours, or mileage reimbursement is provided if the nanny prefers to use their own vehicle. The family strongly prefers local or regional candidates but is open to out-of-state applicants if they are bilingual in Spanish and English.

 

The ideal candidate must be fully vaccinated for COVID (including booster), TDAP, and the seasonal flu. A strong preference for candidates who are bilingual speaking Spanish and English. Traveling with the family is optional.

 

The position begins September 1. Pay is a competitive range of $25–35+/hour, depending on experience. Benefits include paid holidays, sick days, and vacation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated, nurturing nanny to join a loving and respectful household and help support a bright toddler’s early growth and development.

 

Qualifications

 

  • BA/BS COLLEGE DEGREE | AA IN RELATED FIELD OF STUDY | OR A MINIMUM OF 5+ YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL NANNY EXPERIENCE
  • UP TO DATE FIRST-AID & CPR CERTIFICATION (WILLINGNESS TO RENEW AS NEEDED)
  • THE ABILITY TO MAKE A ONE-YEAR COMMITMENT UNLESS APPLYING FOR A TEMPORARY POSITION
  • A PASSION FOR WORKING WITH CHILDREN
  • 5+ YEARS OF CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE IN ANY FIELD
  • EXCELLENT WORK AND PERSONAL REFERENCES
  • U.S. DRIVER’S LICENSE (THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO NYC RESIDENTS)
  • MUST BE A COMPETENT SWIMMER (IF AND WHEN REQUIRED)
