DORADO, PUERTO RICO (NATIONWIDE SEARCH) - A vibrant and loving family is seeking a FULL-TIME, SPANISH-SPEAKING LIVE-IN NANNY to support their busy household starting ASAP. This is a long-term opportunity for an emotionally mature, proactive, and flexible professional who thrives in an energetic, family-oriented environment. The family has two young boys and is expecting a third child in October, though care for the newborn will initially be handled by a separate nanny. The primary focus will be on the two older children, who attend school part of the day and enjoy an active lifestyle filled with play, outdoor activities, and structured routines.

 

The schedule runs Monday through Saturday, totaling approximately 40 hours per week, with a typical start time around 1:00 PM and flexibility required for occasional evenings, weekends, and extended travel (including one major family trip annually of about two months). 

 

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, comfortable swimming and driving, and able to speak Spanish fluently, as Spanish will be the primary language spoken with the children. Duties will include after-school care, light housekeeping, errand running, and supporting the parents with household logistics. 

 

This family values warmth, dependability, and a collaborative mindset. A private vehicle and golf carts will be provided for work-related use, and the family offers relocation support, and competitive pay $25–$35/hour via payroll, and benefits including paid time off, holidays, vacation, and candidates must be willing to sign an NDA. A private accommodation in the home is provided for the candidate.

 

Qualifications

 

  • BA/BS COLLEGE DEGREE | AA IN RELATED FIELD OF STUDY | OR A MINIMUM OF 5+ YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL NANNY EXPERIENCE
  • UP TO DATE FIRST-AID & CPR CERTIFICATION (WILLINGNESS TO RENEW AS NEEDED)
  • THE ABILITY TO MAKE A ONE-YEAR COMMITMENT UNLESS APPLYING FOR A TEMPORARY POSITION
  • A PASSION FOR WORKING WITH CHILDREN
  • 5+ YEARS OF CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE IN ANY FIELD
  • EXCELLENT WORK AND PERSONAL REFERENCES
  • U.S. DRIVER’S LICENSE (THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO NYC RESIDENTS)
  • MUST BE A COMPETENT SWIMMER (IF AND WHEN REQUIRED)
  • NON-SMOKER
