CORPUS CHRISTI, TX (NATIONWIDE SEARCH) – A dynamic and welcoming family is seeking a FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT (or potentially housing provided) NANNY/FAMILY ASSISTANT to join their household beginning August 1st (flexible start date). This is a long-term role ideal for a highly responsible, communicative, and proactive professional who is looking to become a valued member of a loving, growing family. With two daughters, ages 5 and 7, and a baby due in September, the family is excited to welcome a capable and nurturing individual who thrives in a supportive, fast-paced home.
The schedule runs Monday through Friday, averaging 45-57 hours per week. Typical hours are from approximately 6:15 AM until just after 5:00 PM, with an earlier close on Fridays at 3:00 PM. The candidate will have every other Friday completely off. During the school year, the children attend school from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and occasionally participate in after-school activities. During school hours, the nanny/family assistant will support the household with light housekeeping, family laundry, meal preparation, running errands, organizing household projects, and keeping things running smoothly and efficiently. This role requires excellent time management, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a range of responsibilities with minimal direction—often via text—while maintaining a high standard of care.
Comfort around animals is essential, as the family has two friendly dogs. Driving is required for school drop-offs, pick-ups, errands, and outings, and a family vehicle will be provided for use during work hours. Occasional overnight stays may be requested when the parents are traveling (once or twice per year), and the ability to travel—while not required—is appreciated and will be fully covered by the family. A candidate who can swim with the children, administer medications as needed, and support a household of respectful, independent children will thrive in this role.
Compensation begins at $65,000+ annually via payroll and can be adjusted higher for the right candidate. Additional compensation is available for occasional overnights and travel. The family offers a generous benefits package including paid vacation, sick days, holidays, health insurance assistance, and a credit card for work-related expenses. Relocation assistance is available. While the family is currently prioritizing live-out candidates, they are also open to a live-in arrangement where the nanny would have private accommodations in their second home located just across the yard from the main residence.
