COLUMBIA, MO (NATIONWIDE SEARCH)--A warm, faith-centered family seeks a FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER to help care for their four wonderful children and assist with household tasks. Core hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. with flexibility for occasional evenings, overnights and travel.
The role centers around four wonderful children: three spirited girls, aged 10, 8, and 6, and their 16‑month‑old brother. The children’s well‑being and development remain the household’s highest priority. During the academic year, the girls are in school from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., while their brother enjoys a morning of active play, lunch, and a 12:30‑2:30 p.m. nap. He will be in preschool part-time in the near future. They keep busy in the summer with camps, tutoring sessions, and other morning activities for the older children.
To give the parents concentrated time with the children, the nanny will handle everyday household tasks such as packing lunches, doing the dishes (sometimes from the night before to allow parents to spend more quality time with the kiddos), family laundry, light tidying (wiping counters, spot‑vacuuming), running errands, and other organizational projects that keep the home running smoothly. A weekly cleaning service manages deep cleaning. Mom will be in and out of the home and seeks a nanny who can collaborate gracefully and shift gears between childcare and household support.
Flexibility is key for this position! The family travels approximately 5-6 times per year and would love for their nanny to join! Travel is primarily domestic, with some international trips sprinkled in the mix. A multi-week adventure in Europe is anticipated for summer 2026. Overnights will be expected about once per month for up to 3 nights max. A family vehicle is provided for all on‑the‑clock duties.
The ideal candidate is loving, patient, and genuinely invested in childhood wonder, yet also hardworking, organized, and a natural self‑starter who notices what needs to be done and takes initiative to do it. Emotional intelligence, the ability to shepherd siblings through big feelings, and respect for the family’s Christian faith will make this caregiver a seamless extension of the parents’ values.
Compensation is $30–$35 per hour, paid via payroll. Benefits include employer-sponsored health insurance and ten days of paid time off per year (accruing at five days every six months). Relocation assistance is available for candidates moving from out of state. The start date is flexible for the right fit!
Health insurance and paid time off.
