ST. CLOUD, MN (LOCAL OR REGIONAL CANDIDATES IN THE UPPER MIDWEST PREFERRED)--A dual physician household in St. Cloud, MN, seeks a dedicated, career‑minded FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER to care for their lively daughter (6) and son (8) while smoothly running the family’s day‑to‑day operations. Local or Upper‑Midwest candidates are preferred.
The position guarantees 35 paid hours each week with seasonal schedules: in summer the nanny works Mondays 7:30 AM–12:30 PM, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 7 AM–5 PM, with Wednesdays typically off, though a few hours may be requested on occasion; during the school year hours shift to Mondays 6:30 AM–11:30 AM, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 6:30 AM–4:30 PM, again with most Wednesdays free, though a few hours may be requested on occasion. During the summer, there is a mix of driving the kids to activities/camps as well as full days with the children. A family minivan is provided for school and camp drop‑offs, errands, etc.
Beyond providing attentive, age‑appropriate childcare, the nanny oversees light housekeeping: keeping common spaces and children’s rooms tidy, managing family laundry, handling grocery runs, and transporting the family’s two friendly dogs (and occasional care for one cat) to daycare. Reliability, honesty, keen attention to detail, and clear, timely communication are essential; as extensions of two busy medical careers, the parents rely on early notice of any absences so patient schedules can be adjusted if needed.
Pay is $25 +/hour depending on experience. Relocation assistance/a moving stipend can be provided. Benefits include 80 hours of PTO to be used as vacation or sick leave. It is requested that these days/hours are scheduled with 1 week advance notice to the family when able. When the family takes vacation, the nanny will have paid days off, which do not count toward PTO hours. Family requests that the nanny take prolonged or weeklong vacations when the family takes vacation. They will provide as much notice as possible.
This position begins as soon as the right candidate is available and promises a warm, respectful environment where a dependable professional can build a long‑term partnership supporting two engaging children and the smooth running of an active home.
