Part-Time Nanny / Mother’s Helper – McKinney, TX (Local Candidates Only)

A kind and welcoming family in McKinney is seeking a reliable part-time nanny to help care for their 16-month-old son. Care will take place at the grandparents’ home, where the child’s mother works remotely, and the grandmother is the primary caregiver during the day, seeking afternoon support.

The role begins in late August or early September, ideally by Monday, September 1st. The schedule is 1:00–5:00 PM,  Monday–Friday. Occasional full-day or weekend help (including date nights) is a plus but not required.

Duties include engaging the child in age-appropriate play, preparing and feeding meals, supporting the child’s daily routine (naps, diapering, etc.), and light tidying related to the child’s care.

The ideal candidate is warm, patient, and proactive, with a love for toddlers and a strong sense of safety. The home has a mild-mannered older dog and a gated pool, so comfort with pets and pool safety is important. No driving is needed. Standard vaccinations are preferred.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a consistent, part-time role with a loving family. Pay is $25–$30/hour, depending on experience.
