GAINSVILLE, TX (LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED) - A busy, loving family located in Gainesville, Texas, seeking a full-time, long-term professional live-out NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER to support their active household and care for their two children—a curious, high-energy 5-year-old boy and a happy, social 8-month-old baby girl. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a beautiful ranch property, approximately 15 minutes from I-35, where the family is currently developing green space and a park-like area for their children.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours and travel opportunities, especially in the summer. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, energetic, organized, and proactive, with a strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for working with children. The family values someone who is playful, dependable, and able to integrate into the rhythm of their home with professionalism and heart.

Duties include age-appropriate care for both children, transportation to and from school and activities (mileage reimbursement provided), light tidying, children’s laundry, assistance with baby food prep, and supporting the home through thoughtful organization and planning. A well-trained Beauceron dog lives in the home, and occasional pet care may be required. While this role does not require vaccinations or an NDA, the family prefers candidates who are respectful of confidentiality and are willing to sign a confidentiality agreement.

This is a payroll position offering a competitive hourly rate of $25–$35/hour, paid sick days, paid holidays, and paid vacation. The family is open to candidates from out of state and will provide relocation assistance for the right fit. Qualifications

 

  • BA/BS COLLEGE DEGREE | AA IN RELATED FIELD OF STUDY | OR A MINIMUM OF 5+ YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL NANNY EXPERIENCE
  • UP TO DATE FIRST-AID & CPR CERTIFICATION (WILLINGNESS TO RENEW AS NEEDED)
  • THE ABILITY TO MAKE A ONE-YEAR COMMITMENT UNLESS APPLYING FOR A TEMPORARY POSITION
  • A PASSION FOR WORKING WITH CHILDREN
  • 5+ YEARS OF CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE IN ANY FIELD
  • EXCELLENT WORK AND PERSONAL REFERENCES
  • U.S. DRIVER’S LICENSE (THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO NYC RESIDENTS)
  • MUST BE A COMPETENT SWIMMER (IF AND WHEN REQUIRED)
