MIAMI, FL (NATIONWIDE SEARCH)- First-time parents in a private, gated neighborhood in Miami seek a highly qualified and experienced FULL-TIME LIVE-IN NANNY for their 5-month-old baby boy. They are open to hiring two ROTATIONAL NANNIES to alternate working 24/7 on a 7 days on 7 days off rotation, OR hiring one FULL-TIME LIVE-IN NANNY to provide 24/7 care 5 days/week (Monday-Friday). In both cases, the family is looking for a long-term nanny who can provide daytime and overnight care, although their child is currently sleeping through the night.
Nanny will have access to a private bedroom and bathroom within the family’s residence during ON weeks and is expected live out during OFF weeks, if working a rotational position. They are open to providing relocation assistance but will not be flying the nanny in/out for the rotational position. The nanny can live in full-time if working 5 days/week (non-rotational schedule).
They plan to travel roughly every 1-2 months, with each trip lasting 2-3 weeks. Therefore, they are looking for a nanny who is flexible and holds a valid passport to accompany them on these trips. The two nannies will rotate trips OR split the trip in half.
The ideal candidate will be nurturing, attentive to all details, and capable of providing exceptional care for their baby boy. Strong communication skills, discretion, and respect for boundaries are essential. This role requires a warm and hospitable demeanor, ensuring both the baby and parents feel comfortable and supported.
Responsibilities include providing comprehensive care, such as feeding, diaper changes, soothing, bathing and monitoring; putting infant back to sleep when waking up overnight; establishing and maintaining a consistent nighttime sleep and nap schedule and routine; maintaining a clean and safe environment for the baby; and communicating effectively with parents regarding the baby’s activities, health, and progress. The nanny will restock the child’s items, prepare meals for the child, and maintain proper hygiene. Duties will shift as the baby grows to include providing appropriate developmental activities to the child under the parents' approval.
Qualifications for the role include proven experience as a professional career nanny for a minimum of 10 years; experience with newborns and infants (at least 2 children under 6 months of age); 10 years minimum of experience caring for infants and overnight care; Prior experience traveling internationally as a professional nanny; excellent communication skills with the ability to update and inform parents regularly; high level of discretion and respect for the family's privacy. Professional references from previous positions in similar roles are required. Experience as a ROTA nanny or NCS is a plus.
Pay for the rotational position is $85-90K/year. Pay for the full-time-live-in position 5 days/week is $100-120K/year + 7 days of PTO and major federal holidays off and paid. Start date is ASAP!
