MIAMI, FL (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY- A warm and loving family in Coconut Grove is seeking a gentle, attentive, and emotionally attuned PART-TIME NANNY to support their gentle and observant 3-year-old son. Both parents work from home and are deeply involved in their child’s day-to-day life, creating a nurturing and connected home environment. Their son is in school from 8:45 AM to 11:45 AM Monday-Friday, and the parents typically handle school pickup and drop off. He is a magical little boy—sweet, talkative, gentle, curious, funny, and warm.

A minimum of 20 hours per week are guaranteed, primarily taking place in the afternoons and early evenings, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening coverage for date nights. While the family is flexible on exact hours, they ideally need coverage starting at around 2 PM each day. The family is flexible with the hours and is more concerned about finding the perfect fit over the perfect schedule. Compensation is $30–$45/hour, depending on experience, and the position includes paid sick days, holidays, and vacation. Candidates must be vaccinated for TDAP and the seasonal flu.

Duties are 100% child-focused—this is a role for someone who truly loves children and lights up when engaging with them. The family is seeking someone with a background in early childhood education/development and a strong understanding of positive language and gentle discipline. Responsibilities will include preparing simple snacks and spending intentional, meaningful time with their son.

The ideal nanny is warm, calm, safety-conscious, and emotionally attuned—someone who doesn’t push, but instead honors and embraces their son for who he is, meeting him exactly where he’s at. They seek a nanny who can truly integrate into their lives and build a trusting, lasting bond. A soft and kind presence is essential. While the family spends part of the summer in New York, they likely won’t require the nanny to travel with them.
