LOS ANGELES, CA (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) – A vibrant and welcoming family is seeking a nurturing, experienced, and flexible PART-TIME NANNY to support their growing household for the upcoming months. This exciting role is perfect for a warm and dependable nanny who loves working with infants and young children and thrives in a dynamic environment. The family includes a playful and energetic 3-year-old boy and newborn twins, born in early April. They will be based in Los Angeles from late April through November for mom’s job and are seeking a candidate to join them starting May 1st, 2025.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who can wear many hats as the nanny and household manager, as the family navigates a busy and joyful chapter. The ideal schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately five hours per day, with occasional flexibility for weekends, evenings, or event support. Most days the schedule is 8 am - 3 pm. The family would also love to find someone open to accompanying mom and the children to games and events, and potentially travel for family needs.

The role centers around nurturing and engaging the children, especially the toddler, whose personality is described as fun-loving, social, and curious. He enjoys late mornings, lots of playtime, and being outside or on his tablet. Support with the newborn twins will grow as they settle into a routine, and the family is looking for someone confident with the baby stage and ready to grow with them.

Responsibilities may include light meal prep, children’s laundry, light tidying, running errands, and occasional assistance with household tasks. The family does not currently plan to have the nanny transport the children, but reimbursement for any job-related mileage or errands will be provided. No pets are in the home, and while no specific vaccinations are required, candidates must be comfortable in a plant-based household and knowledgeable about early childhood development. Comfort with swimming and administering basic medication is also appreciated.

The family is offering a competitive hourly rate of $25–$35+/hour, depending on experience, with compensation paid via payroll either weekly or bi-weekly. Benefits such as paid vacation, sick days, holidays, and additional travel or event perks may be included for the right candidate.

This is the family’s first time hiring a nanny, and they’re hoping to find a trustworthy, patient, and experienced professional who values communication, brings a calm and capable presence, and is excited about becoming part of a kind and active household.
