LOS ANGELES, CA (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) – A vibrant and welcoming sports family is seeking a nurturing, experienced, and flexible PART-TIME NANNY to support their growing household during an exciting new chapter. This warm and dynamic home includes a fun-loving 3-year-old boy and newborn twins, born in early April. Based in Los Angeles from late April through November for mom’s work, the family is eager to welcome a dependable caregiver starting May 1st, 2025.

 

This role will begin as primarily OVERNIGHT INFANT CARE to support the twins' early needs and allow the parents to rest. As the babies settle into a routine, the schedule will gradually transition into daytime care. Flexibility is key—the ideal candidate is adaptable, communicative, and comfortable working varied hours based on the family’s evolving needs. The family is looking for someone confident with infants and also excited to build a connection with their curious, social toddler, who thrives on playtime and outdoor fun. A caregiver who can balance nurturing baby care with age-appropriate engagement for a preschooler will be a great fit.

 

Responsibilities may include light meal prep, children’s laundry, light tidying, running errands, and occasional household support. While transportation of the children is not currently required, reimbursement will be provided for any job-related errands or mileage. There are no pets in the home, and the household is plant-based—knowledge of early childhood development, basic medication administration, and swimming comfort are appreciated.

 

The family is offering a competitive hourly rate of $25–$35+/hour, depending on experience, with compensation paid via payroll on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Benefits such as paid vacation, sick days, holidays, and potential event or travel perks may be offered to the right candidate.

 

This is the family’s first nanny hire, and they’re seeking a trustworthy, warm, and calm professional who values open communication and is ready to be a reliable, nurturing presence in a joyful, busy home.

 

Qualifications

 

  • BA/BS COLLEGE DEGREE | AA IN RELATED FIELD OF STUDY | OR A MINIMUM OF 5+ YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL NANNY EXPERIENCE
  • UP TO DATE FIRST-AID & CPR CERTIFICATION (WILLINGNESS TO RENEW AS NEEDED)
  • THE ABILITY TO MAKE A ONE-YEAR COMMITMENT UNLESS APPLYING FOR A TEMPORARY POSITION
  • A PASSION FOR WORKING WITH CHILDREN
  • 5+ YEARS OF CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE IN ANY FIELD
  • EXCELLENT WORK AND PERSONAL REFERENCES
  • U.S. DRIVER’S LICENSE (THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO NYC RESIDENTS)
  • MUST BE A COMPETENT SWIMMER (IF AND WHEN REQUIRED)
