Infant Close Up

AUSTIN, TX (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) – Wonderful first-time parents in Travis Heights seek a nurturing and experienced NANNY for their happy and healthy 5-month-old baby born (born late October) 30-40 hours/week. Both parents work both in and out of the home and maintain a flexible schedule, though they prefer a structured routine with coverage from 10 AM – 5 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and 9 AM – 3 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with infants and toddlers and a strong understanding of child development. The family values a proactive nanny who can approach each day with a thoughtful plan to foster developmental milestones while creating a nurturing and engaging environment for their child. The ability to work independently and take initiative is essential, while also being receptive to parental input and respectful of their parenting choices.

Responsibilities are centered around the baby’s complete care and development, including baby-related household tasks such as the child’s laundry, washing bottles, and maintaining cleanliness in the child’s areas. The family has a dog and a cat, so candidates should be comfortable around pets and have no allergies. Preference will be given to candidates located within a 15-20 minute commute to Travis Heights (just south of downtown).

Pay is $30-35/hour depending on experience, paid via payroll. Benefits include paid sick days, holidays and vacation. The family is eager to find the right fit and is looking for someone to start ASAP.
