Overview

Infant Close Up

ISTANBUL, TURKEY (NATIONWIDE SEARCH) - A wonderful opportunity awaits an experienced and professional FULL-TIME LIVE-IN NANNY in Istanbul, Turkey, to care for a four-month-old baby girl in a warm and welcoming family environment. This is a long-term position, and the family is seeking a dedicated caregiver who is passionate about infant care, highly organized, and comfortable working alongside an involved mother.

Hours are generally 8 am - 8 pm Monday - Saturday. The position requires a flexible schedule, with six working days per week. While the mother will be handling overnight care, the nanny will have a private and separate bedroom for rest during the night. The family understands the importance of maintaining a balanced work-life dynamic and is committed to ensuring that the nanny is well-supported.

Duties will include full care of the baby, ensuring her well-being, fostering developmental activities, and maintaining her daily routine. Additionally, the nanny will be responsible for keeping the baby's room tidy, organizing her closet, putting away laundry, and ensuring that necessary supplies are always stocked. While weekdays include a provided lunch, the nanny will be responsible for preparing her own breakfast and dinner. On weekends, the nanny will also prepare their own lunch.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience caring for infants. While the family is highly involved in their child’s upbringing, they are not looking for a proxy parent, and the nanny should be comfortable working in a role that complements the mother’s caregiving. Professionalism, a respectful attitude, and a positive demeanor are key attributes for success in this position.

This role also includes frequent international travel, particularly to London and the United States, as the family has an office in London. Candidates must hold a valid US/European passport and be eligible to obtain a work visa. A non-disclosure agreement (NDA) will be provided by the family to ensure privacy and discretion.

The family is offering a competitive salary of $5,000+ USD per month and is willing to be flexible in compensation for the right candidate. Additional benefits include 10 PTO days, 5 sick days, and a flexible health insurance stipend. Accommodation is generously provided, with a private bedroom and bathroom located on a separate floor above the family’s apartment. This space includes a kitchen, a bathroom, and a small workout area for the family.
