DORADO, PUERTO RICO (NATIONWIDE SEARCH)--A wonderful family in Dorado, Puerto Rico, is seeking a FULL-TIME LIVE IN NANNY to join their household and care for their three sweet and inquisitive children—a 3-year-old boy, a 7-year-old girl, and a 9-year-old boy. These outgoing and curious kids love to ask questions, explore, and engage with the world around them. The family is looking for a nurturing, responsible, and adaptable nanny to become part of their home and provide loving, hands-on support.

The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM. The nanny will begin the day assisting with morning routines, school drop-offs, and household tasks while the children are in school, such as light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, running errands, and walking their two small dogs (preferred but not a required task). In the afternoons, the nanny will team up with Mom to manage school pick-ups, getting the children to after-school activities, and evening routines, including dinner, bath time, and bedtime. The family has had the same beloved nanny for seven years and is eager to welcome their next long-term caregiver as an extension of their family.

The family will be in Puerto Rico until late May before relocating to Greenwich, CT, for the summer (June-August). They will return to PR for the 2025-2026 school year (August-May) and will relocate back to Greenwich in June 2026). The family lives in a beautiful home near the beach and enjoys spending time on the water. They seek a nanny who is a strong swimmer and comfortable supervising children in the ocean. 

Live-in accommodations are preferred, but they are open to potentially assisting with separate housing in Puerto Rico for the right fit. The nanny will have a private bedroom and bathroom in both PR and CT. The PR home has a side entrance for more privacy. A car will be provided for both work-related and personal use. The nanny must also be comfortable driving golf carts, as they are the primary mode of transportation within the community. The household includes two small, friendly King Charles Cavaliers, who love people and enjoy sitting on laps—comfort around dogs is a must!

The family is seeking a warm, engaging, and adaptable nanny who will truly integrate into their lives. Someone laid back, outgoing, flexible, and go-with-the-flow. The perfect candidate is vigilant and attentive, fully present and not distracted by their phone when with the children. They should be patient, responsible, and with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Because the family lives near the beach and enjoys time on the water, the nanny must be a strong swimmer and comfortable with ocean safety. While not required, Spanish-speaking candidates are highly preferred. They are looking for someone with a minimum of six years of professional childcare experience who is excited about becoming a long-term member of their household.

Benefits include paid sick days, holidays, and vacation, as well as the opportunity to travel. The family takes vacations during school breaks and the nanny will join. This summer, they plan to visit Portugal (July), and their trips are typically no longer than a week. Pay is $25-35/hour depending on experience and paid via payroll. Start date is ASAP!
