NEW YORK, NY- A loving family on the Upper West Side of Manhattan is seeking a warm, intelligent, and energetic nanny to provide attentive care for their three children (6, 4 years, and 8 months old), with a primary focus on their youngest, who is eight months old. This is a wonderful opportunity for a nanny who thrives in a dynamic household and enjoys fostering meaningful connections with growing children.
The position offers a stable schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 6 PM. The primary responsibility will be caring for the baby throughout the day, engaging in age-appropriate activities, and supporting developmental milestones. The role also includes picking up the oldest child from school in the afternoons and creating a smooth and positive transition home. The family is looking for someone experienced with infants and has the enthusiasm and energy to develop a strong rapport with the older children as they grow. They value a fun, smart, and proactive nanny who can seamlessly blend structure with playfulness and curiosity.
Responsibilities include nurturing care for the baby and managing feedings, naps, and developmental activities. The nanny will pick up the eldest from school, facilitate a warm and engaging after-school routine, and encourage imaginative play, learning, and social development. Additional duties involve preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children, keeping their spaces tidy, doing children's laundry, and running occasional errands.

The family resides in a beautiful neighborhood on the Upper West Side, steps away from Riverside Park. Schools are conveniently located nearby. This is a live-out position, and the nanny must be comfortable navigating the city for school pick-ups and outings. Compensation is commensurate upon experience paid via payroll. The role includes paid vacation, sick days, and holidays. The position offers consistent full-time hours with minimal weekend or evening requirements.
Qualifications
BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study
CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)
Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position
A passion for working with children
Two+ years childcare experience
Excellent work and personal references
U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)
Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
