SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) - A warm and welcoming family just outside of Cleveland is seeking a proactive, fun-loving, and safety-conscious LIVE-OUT NANNY for their two children—a 4-year-old boy and a 1.5-year-old girl. The position requires coverage Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety while fostering a nurturing, structured, and engaging environment that encourages both education and fun! Must be comfortable working with parents in the home.

Flexibility is key, as both parents have dynamic and ever-changing schedules. While they aim to plan ahead, some week-to-week adjustments may be necessary. The nanny’s responsibilities include creating and maintaining daily routines, organizing activities, and planning educational and imaginative play both indoors and outdoors. Outings to parks, walks, and playdates with other children are encouraged. The family is looking for a self-starter who can implement a simple, structured weekly educational curriculum. Meal prep, laundry and light cleaning for the children will be expected.

The eldest attends school full-time Monday through Friday, while the youngest attends on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The nanny will be responsible for morning drop-offs (8:00-8:30 AM) and afternoon pickups (4:00-5:00 PM) for the eldest. A reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license are required for transportation, and the family will provide car seats.

The family lives in a beautiful historic neighborhood with convenient access to parks, playgrounds, and a nearby train leading downtown. They also have a large Australian Shepherd, so the nanny must be comfortable around dogs and willing to assist with pet care as needed.

This position starts ASAP, and the family offers paid holidays and mileage reimbursement as part of the compensation package. Candidates must be CPR certified and fully vaccinated.
