Their son attends school Monday - Thursday from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm and 8:30 am - 11:30 am on Friday. Mom works remotely in the home. The nanny is expected to complete household management tasks related to the son while the son is at school. If the household duties are completed, the nanny could use a split schedule some days to balance the hours worked and prevent fatigue. This role requires strong household management skills, tech-savvy candidates, and strong communicators. The family provides a nanny vehicle for work. candidates who have their own reliable transportation, but they could provide a car for work if necessary. They are open to providing a stipend for gas, maintenance, and insurance for the nanny’s personal vehicle if used for work. The perfect candidate has a strong sense of time management, is coachable, is a team player, and is a self-starter. Mom needs a candidate who understands that she is a busy working professional and the nanny also supports her goals.
Duties include caring for the child, driving him to and from school, taking him to speech therapy/occupational therapy 3-4 times per week, meal prep for the son, picking up after the son, laundry for the son, ordering/purchasing groceries, and cleaning the dishes and kitchen after meals. Additionally, if the mom cannot attend the speech therapy sessions, she would ask the nanny to take detailed notes to ensure the household works as a unit to support the child's speech and language implementation and goals.
The family prefers vaccination (COVID is a must) at this time. The start date is as soon as possible. Pay is negotiable, $70-80k gross via payroll annually based on experience. Benefits include PTO + Paid Holidays + possible housing stipend for the perfect candidate.
