Overview

nanny with boys golden hour

NOKOMIS, FL (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)- A warm and loving family located 30 minutes from Sarasota, is seeking an experienced and caring FULL-TIME NANNY for their two young boys, ages 2.5 years and 2 months. Mom is a physician, and Dad is currently a stay-at-home parent who is actively involved in childcare but will likely return to work in the future. The position offers flexibility, with an ideal schedule of Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 7 PM, although hours and start date are negotiable for the right candidate.

The nanny will be responsible for complete childcare, including providing attentive care for the newborn and engaging and supervising the active toddler. The family requires someone who is highly detail-oriented and vigilant, particularly in managing food allergies, as the 2.5-year-old has multiple allergies and requires an EpiPen, and the newborn is on a special formula with suspected allergies. Additional duties include preparing meals and bottles, light household tasks related to the children (such as dishes, laundry, and tidying up play areas), and occasionally assisting with the care of the family’s two friendly Havanese dogs.

The family seeks a kind, patient, and dependable caregiver with experience caring for infants and toddlers, who is safety-conscious, adaptable, and eager to collaborate. A plus if you have experience navigating food allergies! They value someone who enjoys nurturing young children and can seamlessly work alongside a stay-at-home parent while also working independently. Vaccinations for TDAP and the seasonal flu are required.

This role offers competitive hourly pay ($25-35/hour, paid via payroll) and a comprehensive PTO package that includes paid sick days, holidays, and vacation time. If you’re passionate about providing loving, attentive care in a collaborative and supportive environment, this is your chance to join a special family.
