Three White Siblings

WAXHAW, NC- A lovely family located 30 minutes outside of Charlotte, NC, is seeking a dependable, caring, punctual, and adaptable nanny to join their household and provide exceptional care for their three children, ages 9 (girl), 7 (boy) and 3 (boy). Hours are Monday- Thursday, 7 AM - 6 PM, allowing you to have three-day weekends, occasionally working Fridays as needed.  Mom's work schedule is very predictable but inflexible, while the father travels frequently, so reliability is essential. They value a nanny who genuinely cares for their children, is confident in applying appropriate discipline, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and take initiative is essential for success in this role. The family values a nanny who can seamlessly integrate into their household, ensuring their children and home are cared for with the utmost professionalism and dedication.

Their daughter is extremely bright, thoughtful, and responsible, often helping with her younger siblings when needed. Their son is a caring and rambunctious 7-year-old who may need assistance with homework but is a delightful and loving child. Their sweet and affectionate 3-year-old brings joy to their busy home! The two older children attend elementary school from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM, while the youngest attends preschool on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Afternoons are filled with sports and activities, requiring coordination and transportation. The family lives in a gated, walkable community with parks a short drive away. A family car is available for job-related use, though they are happy to provide mileage reimbursement if the nanny prefers to use their own vehicle.

The family is seeking a nanny who is not only dependable and caring but also resourceful, resilient, and an excellent problem solver. It is crucial that the nanny can think ahead, multitask effectively, and stay highly organized, always anticipating the family's needs and staying two steps ahead. The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking on various responsibilities, including running errands, assisting with homework, and cooking for the kids. The role also involves managing laundry for the children and driving the children to and from activities. Household tasks also include coordinating service vendors, arranging kids' seasonal clothing, tidying up after kids, etc. They have two medium-sized dogs, and the nanny would be expected to help coordinate and bring them to the grooming/vet.

The family offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid sick days, holidays, vacation, and health insurance. The family offers a pay rate of $32-$35 per hour, gross payroll, commensurate with experience, and relocation assistance. They prefer LIVE-OUT CANDIDATES but are open to someone living in or at least temporarily until the nanny gets settled.  Flexibility is key, as they occasionally require support for extended days, overnights (1-2 times a month), and travel.

This family has a history of treating their nannies as valued members of the family. Their previous full-time nanny, who worked with them for three years, became an integral part of their lives. They believe in supporting their nanny and ensuring they feel appreciated and well-compensated for their dedication. Additional perks include access to their lakehouse, just an hour from their main home, for family getaways where the nanny is welcome to join, as well as opportunities to accompany them on two-three family trips per year. They are looking for someone to help their children thrive while maintaining a sense of structure and fun during busy times.

If you are dependable, kind, and ready to become part of a wonderful family, we would love to hear from you!
