DALLAS, TX ( LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) - Amazing family is seeking a FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY/ HOUSEHOLD MANAGER for their 2.5-year-old daughter. Their daughter is described as energetic, loving and articulate. She loves art, music, gymnastics, ballet, anything outside, and generally just being part of day-to-day life! She will be starting pre-school part-time in mid-January. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience working with toddlers in a nanny role (early childhood education/training is a bonus). The family is looking for someone who is a strong communicator with excellent judgment and ability to operate independently. 

 

Hours are 11:00am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with flexibility for occasional date nights. The family will guarantee 30 hours/week, and will occasionally need nanny to start earlier (8am) when either parent is travelling. The family has a second home in Michigan where they visit on occasion and can spend up to 2 weeks away. When the family travels the nanny is occasionally required to join. The family will guarantee full-time pay when they travel without the nanny. 

 

Mom works from home and Dad works out of the home. Both parents are busy entrepreneurs, but actively involved in raising their daughter.  Candidates should have solid communication skills, including verbal and written. Candidates must have reliable transportation to work and the family will provide a vehicle to use while working. Candidates must have active health insurance.

 

Duties include all aspects of childcare including proactively planning and scheduling activities for the child, transporting the child to/from activities and school in the family's vehicle, preparing the child’s lunch/breakfast, family laundry, picking up the house (i.e. making sure things make it back in their place), errands, small projects (while family is out of town), helping with the dogs (dropping at daycare as needed) , unloading the dishwasher, ordering groceries, and general organization/tidying. The family has a housekeeper that comes in twice a week. Additional duties may include the nanny staying and providing household management and care for 3 dogs ( 2 Golden Retrievers and 1 Mini Goldendoodle) while the family is traveling without the nanny.  Candidates must be comfortable around large dogs. 

 

The perfect candidate is health-conscious, a self-starter, adaptable, and capable of multitasking. The family would love to find a reliable, and caring individual with a passion for both childcare and household organization. Candidates should have a willingness to travel both domestically and internationally and need to have the ability to get a passport. 

 

The family required candidates to show proof of vaccinations; Covid(including most recent boosters) & Flu. Benefits include 10 PTO days (earned/accrued after 6 months in the role) + 5 sick days + paid holidays(New Years, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, and Christmas) +negotiable health insurance. Nanny must have or be willing to provide proof of their own health insurance coverage upfront. Start date is ASAP! Pay is $30-45/hr gross via payroll based on qualifications and references.

Qualifications

BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study 

CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position

A passion for working with children

Two+ years childcare experience

Excellent work and personal references

U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)

Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
 
Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus

Competent swimmer

Non-smoker

Willing to go through extensive Background Check

Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident

Willingness to show proof of immunizations

No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
