SAN PEDRO, CA (LOCAL CANDIDATES) -  Loving first-time parents in San Pedro seeks a reliable and experienced FULL-TIME NANNY to care for their 10-month-old daughter, starting in early to mid-February. The family values trust and reliability and is looking for someone to join them long-term with hopes to grow with the family.

Duties include feeding, diaper changes, nap routines, baby laundry, picking up after the baby, cleaning bottles, sterilizing toys and pacifiers, and occasional light household tasks such as emptying the dishwasher and tidying. Mom works from home (8 am - 5 pm) and will require flexibility for occasional additional hours. No driving is required, and the family has a friendly dog, a Cockapoo, who will need to be let out on occasion. The nanny should be comfortable with pets and help ensure the baby is kept away from the dog when needed.

Mom wants to be open with candidates that she is a new mom and wants a nanny who can respect when she has concerns. If the baby falls and bumps her head, mom will most likely take her to be checked out by a physician. Candidates should be comfortable with moms concerns and help support her when needed.

The ideal candidate is experienced, reliable, and nurturing. English fluency is required, with Spanish being a bonus. The family prefers fully vaccinated candidates, including COVID and Flu. Pay is $30/hr gross, with benefits including 10 PTO days and 5 sick days.
