Overview

Sis and Infant

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) – A warm and loving dual-physician household in Tangletown is seeking a LIVE-OUT NANNY to care for their two young daughters, ages 6 months and 2 years. This growing family values reliability, trust, and a nurturing, patient caregiver who can provide consistent support as they navigate their busy lives.

The nanny will be responsible for complete care of both children, including dressing, feeding, preparing bottles, and keeping their daily routines running smoothly. The 6-month-old baby is still developing a schedule, with multiple naps throughout the day. The 2-year-old will likely attend preschool in the mornings. She returns home to play before her afternoon nap from 2-4 PM. The nanny will likely assist with school pick-up using the family car, which will be provided.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11 AM to 5 PM (30 hours per week to start), with the expectation that hours will likely increase to full-time in the coming months. Flexibility is important, as occasional schedule adjustments may be needed, such as earlier starts or extending into the early evening.

Duties will include light household tasks, such as loading/unloading the dishwasher, managing the children’s laundry, maintaining tidy play areas, and spot-cleaning floors as needed. The family seeks someone energetic and fun yet calm and patient, fostering a loving environment for their girls to thrive.

The ideal candidate will have many years of experience, be well-connected in the Minneapolis community or willing to build a network of local nannies and families for playdates and outings. An open-minded individual who embraces cultural diversity and appreciates differing beliefs will be a great match for this family.

The family is offering $25-27/hour, and the start date is flexible for the right fit. Benefits include paid sick days, holidays and vacation. If you are an experienced, dependable, and loving caregiver who is excited to join a welcoming family, this could be the perfect opportunity!
