Nanny holding Infant

MIAMI, FL (LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED)- First-time parents in a private, gated neighborhood in Miami seek a highly qualified and experienced FULL-TIME LIVE-IN NANNY for their 3-month-old baby boy. He will be cared for by a dedicated newborn care specialist for the first four months, after which the nanny will take over primary care responsibilities. MUST HAVE TEN YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL NANNY EXPERIENCE!

The family is looking for a nurturing, long-term nanny who can provide daytime and overnight care as needed 40-45 hours/week. The typical schedule will cover weekdays and one weekend day, with one day off per week. Without knowing the baby's schedule and sleep patterns this early on, the schedule is subject to change and they need a flexible nanny who can roll with the punches!

Live-in arrangements include a private bedroom and bathroom within the family’s residence. The family plans to travel together roughly every 1-2 months, with each trip lasting 2-3 weeks. Therefore, they are looking for a nanny who is flexible and holds a valid passport to accompany them on these trips.

The ideal candidate will be nurturing, attentive to all details, and capable of providing exceptional care for their baby boy. Strong communication skills, discretion, and respect for boundaries are essential. This role requires a warm and hospitable demeanor, ensuring both the baby and parents feel comfortable and supported.

Responsibilities include providing comprehensive care, such as feeding, diaper changes, soothing, bathing and monitoring; putting infant back to sleep when waking up overnight; establishing and maintaining a consistent sleep schedule and routine for the newborn; maintaining a clean and safe environment for the baby; and communicating effectively with parents regarding the baby’s activities, health, and progress. The nanny will tend to restock the child’s items, prepare meals for the child and maintain proper hygiene. Duties will shift as the baby grows to include providing appropriate developmental activities.

Qualifications for the role include proven experience as a professional career nanny for a minimum of 10 years; experience with newborns and infants; 10 years minimum of experience with caring for infants overnight; excellent communication skills with the ability to update and inform parents regularly; high level of discretion and respect for the family's privacy. Professional references from previous positions in similar roles are required.
