BROOKLINE, MA (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)- Wonderful family just outside of Boston in Brookline, MA, is seeking a full-time, live-out nanny to care for their energetic and happy 11-month-old son. They hope to welcome a nanny who is both nurturing and safety-conscious to join their loving household.

The weekly schedule may vary, but is primarily Monday from 8 am to 5 pm, Tuesday from 8 am to 4 pm, Wednesday from 8 am to 3 pm, Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, and Saturday from 8 am to 3 pm, with Thursdays and Sundays off. Flexibility is important, as the family may occasionally need slight schedule adjustments, but advanced notice will be provided. They are flexible in return and are happy to adjust schedule times and days off, however one day off will coincide with his swim lesson on Thursday, as mom typically takes him. Travel with the family may be required, typically over weekends, especially during winter and spring to their second home in Florida.

The nanny will be responsible for providing attentive care and engaging their son in age-appropriate developmental activities. His weekly schedule includes sensory classes, MyGym, music, and swimming lessons all taking place Monday-Thursday , with some activities within walking distance. When necessary, Mom will transport the nanny and child to activities. The family values a nanny who can create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment, and adhere to a structured daily routine. Responsibilities include all child-related tasks such as cooking and laundry for their son, keeping his areas clean. No heavy cleaning is required, as the family employs a full-time housekeeper, however, the nanny will be responsible for assisting with more household tidying when the housekeeper is off on Thursdays.

To excel in this role, candidates should have prior professional nanny experience, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for childcare. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is essential, as the nanny will eventually handle driving for activities down the road. A family car will be provided at that time.

The family requires that candidates be vaccinated for COVID and the seasonal flu. They seek a career nanny who is a multitasker, respects parents as decision-makers, and takes pride in creating a nurturing, engaging space for their child. Someone vigilant who prioritizes their child’s safety and wellbeing above everything else. Must be reliable, trustworthy and a strong communicator.

Located just 3 miles from Boston, the family’s neighborhood offers multiple parks and walking paths, and activities. Both parents are business owners and will be in and out of the home throughout the day. Two hypoallergenic dogs are also members of the family, though no pet care is required.
