Overview

Kids Classroom

Houston, TX- A vibrant, active family in the Memorial area is seeking an energetic, thoughtful, and college-educated Nanny/House Manager. This exciting role involves caring for three boys, ages 5, 7, and 9, who are full of energy and eager for adventure. The ideal candidate will enjoy planning fun, engaging activities, fostering creativity, and providing educational support, especially for the oldest child, who benefits from extra help with homework due to dyslexia.

The family leads a very active lifestyle, and they are looking for someone who can keep up with their energy—whether that means riding bikes on long adventures, swimming, skiing, or participating in other outdoor activities. As fitness enthusiasts, the entire family, including the children, values health and wellness. This position requires someone who can seamlessly balance childcare with household management responsibilities, such as keeping track of household inventory, managing light maintenance (like replacing lightbulbs), and running occasional errands, including dry-cleaning pick-up and drop-off.

The typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 2 PM to 9 PM, with some weekends required, as well as travel throughout the year, including holidays like Labor Day and Memorial Day, and extensive travel at periods. Flexibility and ability to travel comfortably with the family is essential. The family seeks a proactive and reliable nanny with a youthful spirit who can connect with the children on their level and serve as a positive role model and mentor.

Compensation for this role is $30 per hour gross via payroll, with a guaranteed 35-hour workweek and overtime pay when applicable. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, enjoys combining childcare with light household management, and is excited to be part of an active, adventurous family.
