MT. LAUREL, NJ- A loving family in Mt. Laurel, NJ is seeking a reliable, patient Household Manager/ Nanny to care for two sweet boys, ages 7 and soon to be 5 years old. This position guarantees weekend hours and offers consistent weekly hours, with the family seeking someone to start as soon as possible. The ideal candidate must have their own reliable car and ideally reside nearby to the Mt. Laurel area. The family is looking for someone who can make a long-term commitment, as the boys have experienced the loss of their mother late last this year and need ongoing love, support, and stability.

 

The boys attend school from 8 AM to 3 PM with additional after school commitments. Assistance is primarily needed on weekends and after school. The typical schedule includes after-school care / transportation activities from Monday to Friday, 1 PM - 7 PM, with additional hours on weekends and extended evening shifts as needed. Responsibilities include picking up the children from the bus stop, transporting them to/from local activities, providing snacks, engaging in fun and creative activities, helping with homework, preparing simple dinners / lunches for next day and assisting with light laundry for the boys. The role also involves household management tasks, including keeping the kitchen organized, organizing the boys' belongings, running occasional errands, and maintaining a smooth daily routine.

 

The family seeks someone dependable, self-motivated, creative, responsible, with experience working with children, especially those with ADHD. Flexibility is required for minor errands and evening care, with the ability to manage shifting priorities.

Qualifications

BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study 

CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position

A passion for working with children

Two+ years childcare experience

Excellent work and personal references

U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)

Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
 
Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus

Competent swimmer

Non-smoker

Willing to go through extensive Background Check

Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident

Willingness to show proof of immunizations

No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
