Three White Siblings

RICHMOND, VA (NATIONWIDE SEARCH) - A loving, close-knit family is seeking a FULL-TIME LIVE-IN NANNY to join their household and become a valued member of their team. With four children—twin 7-year-old boy/girl twins, a 5-year-old boy, and a 3-month-old baby girl—the home is full of energy and creativity. The family is looking for someone who can provide consistent, nurturing care, build strong connections with the children, and bring stability to their active lives. The ideal candidate will be flexible, reliable, and able to assist with the family’s daily routines, activities, and occasional travel.

The older children attend school from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, and are involved in several after-school activities. The position offers a flexible schedule of 40 hours per week, primarily from Monday to Friday. However, flexibility is essential, as the family occasionally requires assistance on weekends, with rotating days off provided during the week.

Key duties include caring for the baby, helping with the older children’s after-school routines, driving them to activities, assisting with homework, preparing meals, and supporting bedtime routines. Light housekeeping tasks—such as tidying toys, cleaning baby bottles, and running errands—are also part of the role. The family seeks someone who is organized, energetic, and proactive, able to balance structure and flexibility while engaging with the children in a fun and supportive manner.

Accommodations include a private guest house with a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette, providing the nanny with a comfortable and private living space. While the family prefers the nanny to have a personal car for non-work use, a Suburban will be provided for all work-related driving. The nanny will also have the opportunity to travel with the family or stay home to assist with house and pet care for the family’s English lab and 13-year-old Frenchie during their absence.

The family values clear communication and is eager to welcome a nanny who can bring stability and warmth to their home. They seek a responsible individual to help maintain balance and foster a team-oriented environment. Rather than taking over parenting, the nanny will provide support, ensuring a collaborative and harmonious dynamic within the household.

The position offers an hourly rate of $25-30, depending on experience. Benefits include 10 days of paid vacation and 5 paid sick days.
